Comparable items at Marshall’s/Ross are more expensive and those at furniture stores are 3 times the cost. A good neutral color that complements my denim blue chaise lounge.     I purchased this online for a birthday gift. The recipient spends a lot of time watching sports on the couch, so this is a nice companion piece. It's the right height, comfortable fabric for hot weather as well as cool, and the padded lid doesn't dig into your leg. Also works well as extra seating. Sturdy without being too heavy to move. If I could change one thing, maybe swap out the flat legs for lockable casters. Like the amount of storage space for sneakers, games, DVDs and remotes, whatever needs a place to be collected.

    Absolutely perfect

    I bought two of these caramel color ottomans pre-covid and have them in front of the sofa. I left the wooden feet off (they are in the ottoman) to keep at appropriate height for leg comfort. They may slide a bit on hardwood floors, but you can buy that non-slip rubbery stuff to prevent this. If you tend to be clutter prone, these are a quick fix till you get motivated to declutter. They still look new. Highly recommend!

    I really want to love this item and the Target brand. Unfortunately, the items I received didn’t match—one was visibly worn and appeared as though it may have been returned. Target chat support wasn’t helpful. My only option was to return it for a refund and go through the process of reordering with my discount, but the item is now out of stock. At this point, I’m not sure I want to take the chance again and may end up returning both.

    I like it a lot

    For those concerned with the bottom piece in the hardware, I don’t think that you should be so concerned because I think that as long as you make sure that they’re in their tight, you won’t have a problem with that. This is the perfect size for storage, as well as versatile enough to go in any room in your home from the bedroom to the living room to sitting room anywhere. Also, it’s a good price.
