Does it work? Sorta. But not well enough
The bottom on this is a little weird to place in the window. I specifically bought this bc it said it has adjustable pieces to put in the window, which is great if you might want to put it in different rooms, as I did…. But it’s just white packing foam you have to cut to size. Sure, they are more dense than plastic fans.., but not as described and not reusable. Perhaps you could have included an extra set at least? But I installed anyways and tossed the box… now it’s 85 today and I need that fan to really move air for the $70+ price tag, but it barely does a thing. I had to unplug and rig a floor fan on a crate on my kids instead. Not what I needed at bedtime. There isn’t enough power from these little fans. Like other reviews… skip it and get a regular window fan.

Excellant for some windows
It does not fit all windows. There’s a small square thing on the bottom that is not clearly pictured in the description and if it doesn’t fit in the slot of your window, it will set up a couple inches above the sale and risk falling out. but I have a newer window that has the perfect set up and it works. Excellent looks really nice and modern compared to those weird box fans they sell for the window so I do recommend but take a look at the picture with a magnifying glass to see the little box on the bottom.

Not much air flow
I like the fact that it has exhaust but when trying to pull in the cool air from outside there's just not much power to this fan even on high. I agree with some of the other reviews that you would be better off with a box fan in the window

Received a returned unit
The fan seems like a good fan, but I received a returned unit. The plug wasn’t wrapped, the screen is dirty, the battery in the remote was dead and the remote was taped to bag with different tapes, and the manual is for a power tool, not the fan. I have no idea if there is a problem with this unit and that’s why it was returned or they just changed their mind. It’s too expensive to take a chance it will stop working. I don’t want to give the product a bad review because someone just taped up a returned item and resold it without checking it first.

Technically it works
Doesn’t actually cool. Just pulls air from outside and makes it a little bit cooler. This is not a replacement for a window unit. Better off buying a $20 box fan and putting that in the window instead. Would have more power too. Overall, not a good working product that is way over priced.

I googled ac window unit and a picture of this popped up. I went to target and picked it up, not even questioning it. Got home and realized it’s just a fancy window fan… it was a little misleading considering one of the photos says “pulls cool air in” and it makes it look like a small ac. Maybe it’s just me, but I definitely did not realize this until I got home.
