The Exotac fireROD Ferrocerium Firestarter with Tinder Capsule features a simple design and optimal storage space for your tinder. Made from lightweight aircraft aluminum, you can pair the fireROD with a Habillis knife and a tinderTIN for an unbeatable fire kit. Designed to be carried with a knife. The ferrocerium rod is replaceable so you won't need to discard this tool when the rod is worn out. The tinder capsule offers plenty of storage for tinder or water purification tablets. The ferrocerium rod works when wet. The body of this tool is made from lightweight 6061 aircraft aluminum. Get more than 5,000 and up to 10,000 fire-starting strikes. Burns at nearly 5,500 degrees Fahrenheit (3,000 degrees Celsius). Diameter: 0.55". Weight: 1.09 oz. Length: 3.55". Rod Size: 5/16" x 2.4".
