Q: Can this be used in a bathroom with a shower/bath and not peel off from the wall over time from steam?

submitted by Pepper - 2 years ago

  • A: Yes, this is great for bathrooms! It's printed on a non-breathable vinyl substrate, which means that steam and indirect moisture will not affect its performance.

Q: What if I have flat builder grade painted walls? How well will it stick?

submitted by Aria - 1 month ago

  • A: Hi Aria! We cannot guarantee results on this paint finish. It may stick to this paint (no guarantee), but there is a chance that some paint will peel off during removal. We've noticed that our adhesive tends to marry to the chalkiness of flat and matte paints. We recommend eggshell, satin, or semi-gloss paint. And please note that if you do repaint your walls, you should wait a full 30 days for the paint to cure. I hope this helps!

submitted by Ace - 8 months ago

  • A: Hi Ace! Yes, our peel and stick wallpaper is perfect for small DIY projects such as a backsplash. It's printed on a non-breathable vinyl substrate which means that steam and indirect moisture will not affect its performance. I hope this helps!

    Doesnt match up

The sides don’t match up almost like it’s missing the smallest sliver on the edge that makes it impossible to line up and if you over work it it’ll stretch and then definitely not line up. Can’t believe I bought 4 of these, waste of money! Get something from a store that actually specializes in stick on wallpaper.

    Horrible

Horrible product, very disaapointed. Should be $10. Too thin. I have used multiple peel and stick brands for the same price and this is lacking. Waste of money!

A little goes a long way as a statement

This is so gorgeous in a small area! To those leaving bad reviews maybe you tried too large an area bc the Shein and the pattern a little goes a long way into making a beautiful statement.

Stretches too easy and causes wrinkles.

It’s beautiful wallpaper but the material is thin and stretches too easy and causes way more wrinkles than it should!

    Shiny

Loved the pattern but did not like the finish. It is shiny/pearl. Would’ve kept it if it were matte!

So shiny (not in a good way)

I wanted to love this wallpaper but it’s so bad - it has this weird shiny, pearl finish that just makes it look so dated and cheap. The sheen shows EVERY single bump so if you have textured walls stay away from this. This might look ok on walls with no texture and lighting that doesn’t bring out the shine but other than that….no.

    Shiny Sheen

Here are the pros - quality and print. Paper seems like it would hold up well and easily cleaned. Here is why I’m returning, the paper has a “shiny” sheen to it and the smell is awful. It almost looks like it has glitter in it. I laid the paper out to “air out” and after 2 days it still smelled awful. A strong plastic smell I couldn’t get past. Return for me.
