This net is so cheap. We have had it less than 2 weeks and had 6 of the hooks have already snapped. Our kid is 8 so apparently only good for very little kids? I would spend more and get something that will hold up.

I really wanted this to work out. I saw a YT video said it was an easy set up but took a little longer than expected. When I began to hook the bungees some of the netting began to snap also The netting is bad quality.

The clips started breaking off in week one. The metal rods snapped in 1/2 after 4 weeks. Its cheap and not worth the money

The net served us well, but over the winter we left it outside and due to the rain, the metal rusted (see pics). Also, prior to that, left out in the sun and the plastic clips become so brittle that they snap and can’t hold the net in place. So don’t leave it outside in your yard if you plan to get more than 6 months of use out of it.
Great find!

We have had several different pitch backs and nets. This one lasted all of 6 weeks before breaking. One of the bars snapped, creating a dangerously sharp situation.

Very poorly made, ripped by just looking at it, ok, not really but don’t waste your money. My son 8 yr used it and it ripped in numerous places within an hour of using it.

This might actually be made for very small children. It took an hour to assemble and didn’t last but a few throws. I wasn’t even throwing hard, either. It needs to be listed as for kids.

Product out of the box before putting together had some places in net that were already broken. My son needed it to practice so we went ahead and assembled. He said he wouldn't really use that side much anyway. Right away, we realized that where the netting is binded around the perimeter was unthreading(as seen in photos) and will not hold up long. Very disappointed but I guess we got what we paid for. Should have known better with a Franklin product.
Perfect for intermediete batting/pitching

Product works as intended. It is fairly stable and very easy to assemble. Keep in mind, this product needs to be assembled correctly or else it is likely that it will fall apart as other reviews have implied. It is fun as heck!

Don't waste your $$. Horrible can't be said enough. Poles come apart easily and net breaks after a few throws. Some electrical tape and wire ties made it last a little longer than should of but it was on borrowed time. I hope the more expensive 1 is a lot better than this junk.

Horrible! The metal frame doesn't lay straight and constantly tilts. A pain to put together for it just to break. Waste of money!

I bought this for my son's 7th birthday - it was very difficult to put together as the poles aren't all interlocking so they tend to fall apart and the net was far too small but after much fighting I got it done. I turn it around to put on the canvas (with the switch hitter) and it was too big but despite it being big the hem at the bottom ripped the whole length of the bottom after he threw a dozen or so pitches. HIGHLY disappointed.

There are no good things I can say about this product. The frame is incredibly flimsy, the bungees don't stay in place, the stakes continually come off the structure when attempting to secure in the ground, etc. It's so poorly made that it's hard to believe that it has the Franklin name on it. After spending 30 - 45 minutes putting it together and thus realizing how bad a product it is, I returned it to Target. Even the people working customer service lamented about how bad a product this is. Sometimes you see a bad review and think, well, maybe that was an isolated incident. Not here. Stay away from this product.

My 9 year old son purchased this pitchback. It has been the biggest disappointment. First, we had to use tent stakes to secure it. Then the joints would fall apart when he was using it so my husband put screws in them to hold them together. Several bungee hooks popped off the first day or two. Now the frame is all bent up and split. Needless to say, I have one disappointed son. This item deserves a less than 1 rating!

I purchased this item for my son at Christmas time. I am just now putting it together. The frame twists as soon as the first ball hits it. The net is to small for the frame, or the bungees are to small. 2 of the bungees came apart before I even had a chance to attach the net. The best thing about this product is the box. The concept was could but the delivery of the actual product stinks. The product picture sure doesn't match is inside the box.

It would appear that the nature of this product is to be used once and then break. Ours was no disappointment as it did just that. THe back legs broke during the second use. The constructions is very poor and weak.
