Awesome strap
In case you are on the fence about the "leatherette" backing - don't be! For the money, this compares to straps costing twice as much. The outer layer is beautiful soft thick glove leather as stated - and it smells like leather should! The backing is also soft but you can tell durable, and looks and feels like leather too - about as good as fake leather gets, imo. So in all, very very pleased and compares well to my other Franklin full leather straps, plus it's 3".
