A: Just FYI - this does NOT come with a center bracket in the smaller size. The Target expert support that answered this question is mistaken/incorrect. Trust me, I’ve purchases several of both sizes. The larger size does come with one however.

The rods are just ok, but the hardware that’s included is absolute garbage. Do not use the drywall anchors included. Not only are they massive, they are too tight to fit the screws provided and just end up spinning in your drywall. 4 holes to now repair + paint and still no curtains up. I’ve bought other target rods with no problems, but this batch sucks. We are a handy house, so it’s not user error.

Allison- So sorry for your trouble. As discussed, the anchors are designed to go into drywall and not drywall patched areas. For other areas, the screws can install directly into wood or similar surfaces.

Very disappoointed in the color of the "grey" rods. I wanted an antique almost brass look and on the website they looked like a perfect match. Sadly they showed up and are a dark chrome with no antique details/coloring. Will have to return both of the sizes I bought (a pain, especially in NYC) and continue searching for something that will work.

This was super easy to install and it looks very modern once installed. I will hesitate to change the curtains though because the whole bar has to be unscrewed to give access to put the curtain on or off, not like regular rods where one side can stay in place.

After buying a new house, my husband and I have installed a ton of curtain rods. By far, this was our easiest curtain rod to install. Looks great on the wall, super easy installation, and supports 2 black out curtain panels. We had 2 rods installed and curtains hanging in less than 30 minutes. Very sturdy as well, so perfect for blackout curtains. We hung the rods 40 inches apart and there's no sag to the rods like we've experienced with other brands. Cons to note: the included wall anchors are trash. Based on other reviews, we didn't even bother with them. We also noticed the coloring of the wall pieces didn't fully match the color of rod (for the Antique Brass), which was odd. I would also call this color more of a true gold, rather than antique brass (which is what we wanted, but the title is definitely misleading).

I bought this product in October 2023 and loved it. It’s still holding up my curtains in one bedroom. I just bought a second set to replace the curtain rod in the guest room but it’s not the same product. The anchors are massive and don’t even work. We now have massive holes in our wall and are just going to chance going without the anchors. It’s not drywall so we think it should work. We did not have this issue at all when we installed the product we bought last year.

I stupidly tried to use the cheap drywall anchors it comes with. They are too flimsy to screw into my drywall and leave large holes when pulled back out. If you want to use the rod you should buy better anchors.
