I typically go past the window about 3-4 inches with the curtain rod so that it darkens the room better and I don't hit a stud. These did not come with anchors, fortunately I keep better achors around than the cheap ones that usually come with these.

Pleasantly surprised at the quality for 2 buckeroos! They held up nicely with my fairly light weight curtains. The hardware is on the small side so you may have to stick with lighter curtains. Like the way the curtains wrap around the edge of the windows. Tip: Separate the rod into 2 parts and slide the curtains over the plastic end to avoid snags and irritation 😏.

When is a curtain rod not a curtain rod? Why, when it's used as supports when sleying the reed on a weaving loom! The curved ends fit over the front & back beams of my loom allowing the reed to lie flat while I pull thread through the reed. It's easier to see & avoid threading mistakes. The price was a bargain as opposed to weaving equipment.
