Hardware is poorly thought through

The screws that are included are not flush to the mount so you cannot get the bracket onto the mount once it’s screwed in.

Wrong screws

It is a nice design but the wrong screws are included and it doesn’t work. The screws included are not the ones needed on the instructions.

Wrong screws included

Design and durability seem great, but I should have read the reviews before screwing the wrong screws into my wall. The ones included will not work as mentioned. Why hasn’t Target fixed this???

Nice, minimalist curtain rod, but wrong screws

I like the minimalist look of the rod, but the installation was kind of a pain. The curtain rods came with pan-head screws, which makes it impossible to slide the arm for the rod onto the French cleat completely. Fortunately, I had bevel head screws handy, and made it easier to slide in the arm seemlessly.

the wrong screws

I had to go to the hardware store to get a different set of screws -- the ones that came in the package had round heads instead of flat heads, and the assembly won't slide down over the bracket if the screw heads are sticking up. The included diagram shows that the design calls for flat-headed screws. The design is very good for a tight space, like a window in the corner of a room. The enclosed template is very helpful.

Great, sleek, modern rod!

Was a little nervous since it's room essentials but this was just what I was looking for. Something slim and modern and it works great. I have medium weight curtains with curtain hooks and as long as you use the wall anchors I dont see this thing coming down! Definitely worth it! Also love that it comes with a drilling template!!!
