I purchased the Good & Gather Frozen Mango Fruit Chunks at the Target in Hadley, MA. The bag says “Product of Vietnam” and has a best-by date of June 3 2028 One of the frozen mango chunks i ate, (then trashed the rest) immediately had a very unusual taste that I have never experienced with mango before or ever. It was difficult to describe, but it seemed almost warm or chemical-like and spread across the roof of my mouth. I stopped eating it because it clearly did not taste right. I may have swallowed the piece or spit it out, I’m not sure. Several hours later, I could still notice an unusual taste and some tingling on the roof of my mouth. I don't know what caused this and I am not claiming the product was contaminated, but I felt it was important to report the experience. I will not be eating any more from this brand. Target should investigate whether there is an issue with this particular lot.
