  • A: I am answering this in December. Or, more accurately, December. I keep my room unheated every year until I start to see my breath. I have been quite toasty and warm with this duvet insert. I also have standard bed sheets, two thin blankets and a mid-weight duvet cover. In summer, I used a thin duvet cover, sheets and one thin blanket. I usually wouldn't use the blanket, but kept the duvet because it is just so very comfy and cozy. Hope this helps.

    Loud, smelly, and sizing combinations do not make sense

    As others have said, the duvet is very crinkly and too loud when moving, The chemical smell was horrible and lasted for 3 days. The duvet is very heavy, which I liked, but some may not. The biggest reason I'm returning it though is because of the combined duvet sizing. A King and a Cal King sizes do not work. I have a regular King size bed. What am I supposed to do with the excess length? It is either dragging at the foot of the bed or bulky at the head. I also don't want to be stuck trying to purchase a duvet cover for only a Cal King size to encase it. The only pros are that it is warm. Cons outweight it though.

    Warm but noisy and doesnt stay put!

    This is definitely warm but the positive ends there. The outer fabric is very stiff and therefore noisy- literally sounds like paper crunching. It also slides off the bed. Not sure why, but it’s seriously annoying when you’re trying to sleep! Also- this is not suitable for a full AND queen. Two different size beds and should be dressed as such!

    Wanted to love it

    Crawling in under this comforter is heaven - it’s the perfect weight extremely cozy and feels luxurious…until you fall asleep. My husband keeps getting woke up by the noise (it doesn’t affect me at all), but my biggest downfall is that it’s so heavy, we can’t seem to keep it on the bed at night. It’s either sliding off the foot of the bed or off either side. We wake up 4 or 5 x times a night adjusting it. We’ve had comforter inserts in a duvet for over a decade and we’ve never had this happen. Also, for an all-season, which we’ve also had for years in other brands, this one keeps us too hot. We’ve had it for four months but it’s disrupting our sleep so much, it has to go.

    Cozy Sleeper

    Goodness gracious this comforter is wonderful!! We live in a 5th wheel trailer in the country with only a wood stove for heat and it tends to get cold. This amazing comforter not only keeps us cozy warm but just when you think it's going to get too hot under it, the temperature evens out. it's amazing and just so cozy to be in bed with. It's like temperature regulating with your body. Yes it makes the wrinkle sound but for me, that sounds is a positive, it is a sign of fluffy and comfy warm comforter and this most certainly lives up to that. And for this price, wow, just wow!! I highly recommend this comforter, happy and comfy sleeping and/or just lounging comfortably under it. I ran it in the dryer medium heat for a freshener before stuffing into a freshly washed duvet cover and using, and that went well. I'm confident that it will wash well following the care instructions provided. We look forward to moving into a home and getting a king size! side note, it looks amazing and floofy and welcoming!
