My dog loves his plush and suede bed I bought him 2 years ago. I decided to get him a new bed and tried the quilted one thinking it would be cooler to sleep on. He would not sleep on it for a few months. I decided to wash the cover and maybe that would make it softer since its a little stiff feeling. It was tough getting the head rest and foam out. It was even tougher trying to put it all back together and zip the headrest back inside. He ended up sleeping on it, but always goes back to his old plush one. I should have returned it, but didn't feel like trying to package it as it is a Large size.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The beds are great and covers wash very well and are easy to put back on. I ended up buying 3 because the sizes are not what I thought. I first got the jumbo plus which was right for my Dogue de Bourdeaux, I thought a large would work for my next dog, but it was more what I would consider a medium, so I then got a Jumbo, which is more a big medium. They love them..even when they have to curl up to fit

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our new dog loves this dog bed. I love it because I can wash it easily. I have used FurHaven dog beds before. They are by far the best because of their wash ability. There is nothing worse than a stinky dog bed that is impossible to fully clean. I can take the cover off to wash in the washing machine. In the meantime, I put the inside of the bed in the sun to help deodorize that.

We washed the cover , thinking it might be dirty and smell bad, buying he would never use it again. He would lay next to it but not in it and not touching it. Our other kitty loves his bed and sometimes we have a hard time getting him to leave his bed. He loves it.

Overall, I’m disappointed with this product. Reading all the positive reviews encouraged me to choose this product, but I think there are many better options I should have purchased instead. The most concerning issue is the lack of water resistance, resulting in a strange smell. Not the smell that all gel foam off-gases after unboxing - that’s expected. Our AC leaked onto this bed. As soon as I noticed, I stripped the cover (which went right in the wash) and found an absolutely SODDEN mattress. Most dog beds have a way to repel or at least resist water, but this seemed to do the opposite and soak it up like a sponge. I propped it up with fans overnight to dry it and it was almost just as wet the next morning, so I pulled the two layers apart (which were glued together no more complexly than a Kindergartener’s art project - I felt had by the way the mattress was described) so I could dry from more angles. It dried out, but now any time my dogs use it, it exudes a really strange smell. Should this whole palaver happen with urine due to a potty-training puppy or geriatric dog struggling with incontinence, I can’t imagine! In terms of the foam itself, I went with the cooling gel top foam because we have Berners. It says the cooling foam is mounted on an orthopedic foam base, but the bed feels very thin and flimsy (I tried it out myself) - not really any of the support I was hoping for at all. For an older dog with sore joints, I think this would provide little to no supportive relief. I chose the bed edged with bolsters because my dogs like that option to rest their heads, but these bolsters compress from small to basically nonexistent with any weight applied. They don’t fulfill their function and become no more than a tripping hazard. Less importantly but still frustratingly, the product pictures for the size and type of foam I was interested showed a dog lying on the “iron grey” option when “silver grey” was selected. This meant I received a different color than I thought I ordered. (I prefer darker colors for the dogs to help better conceal the inevitable stains.)

Our dog, Loki, loves his bed so much! Honestly, it is even comfier than our own mattress so we sometimes lay next to him on it. This bed is perfect for people with Great Pyrenees, Bernese, and Newfoundlands. We also love interacting with Furhaven on socials as they engage well with their community, respond to messages and want to support their customers.

The bed overall is good quality, however, the actual cover could be much better. It’s a bit on the flimsy/thin side and tears easily. I’ve bought several of the faux fur and suede beds in the past which held up well and I was hoping the quilted covered one would be even more durable but unfortunately it’s not. I should also mention my dog isn’t a digger or chewer so it’s not a matter of her being destructive, the cloth just isn’t the best quality.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A great replacement for our dog's previous bed. This time I ordered the Solid Orthopedic Foam / Large / Coffee rather than the basic foam. As soon as I put the bed down, our dog went to it immediately and got comfortable.
