  • A: it might be ok for your puppy, but an Australian shepherd will outgrow this bed pretty quickly (its only 17 x 17, so pretty small). it's great for my 7 lb chihuahua, though, and really cute!

Bed has lost its shape with weekly washing

Purchased this bed for my senior rescue Shih Tzu. He likes the bed. Unfortunately with washing the bed weekly with a senior dog it has not held up well and has lost its shape so it’s off balance for the poor little guy. We air dried it hoping it would retain its shape.

The interior of this bed sheds like crazy and is not safe for dogs to consume, which they will. The bed is also annoyingly off balance so only effective for a dog that takes up the entire thing otherwise they will tip in it.

Senior dog loves it

My senior dog LOVES this bed. It’s too small for him (he’s too old to curl up in a bed) and it’s very thin and the sides flattens out when he lays in it but it’s his favorite bed. Only half his body fits in the bed, so he usually puts his body in it and sleeps with his face on the floor, but out of the 12 beds he has (various sizes, some fluffy, some orthopedic, different shapes, etc.), it’s his favorite. I’m going to get him a second one. I wish it came in a bigger size and different pattern.
