Q: I was a big fan of the GE Lighting 48692 - 12 Pack - Reveal Br30 Reflector Light Bulb 65 W Lumens 510 Med Base. The hue emitted was just what I wanted. Is this bulb the same?

These are WAY too bright for our kitchen. They are definitely not “warm” lighting, they are instead cold, harsh, and very artificial. I regret having bought 6 total (3 boxes of 2 bulbs). I’m only using 2, in our kitchen that has 7 can lights because they are way too bright. If you’re looking for natural looking but bright light, these are not for you. If you want harsh light, and to see every spec of dust and crumbs, and feel like you’re in a convenience store at 2am, then these are what you need. The quality of the bulbs seem great! Much nicer than my others that are store brand. Price was great too! Just not the actual light.

Unlike most of my indoor flood lights - this is blue shaded and very bright. Does not mix well with other ones in my kitchen

These Refresh floodlights offer the most blinding white light. Definitely not suitable for the living room where I relax. GE offers other LED choices that are much better. Perhaps a good choice for a workspace where lots of light is needed.

I purchased 20 of these for my living room, kitchen and finished basement to use with the 3 Caseta Lutron Wireless dimmer switches. (You need the bridge to have them wireless) it's great because they sync up to my Xfinity Home Monitoring Service and I can see if my lights are on or off from my app, along with the option of dimming them too. I also have Alexa so I can ask her to turn off or on or dim the lights to a certain percentage just by saying "Alexa,dim the living room lights to 10%" and she says ok...and they dim. I also have the electronic door lock so I can lock and unlock my door from my Xfinity Home App. I turn on and off the Christmas lights by my phone app too with the wireless outlet devices. I absolutely love having complete control over my entire home....it's peace of mind. Not to mention I have numerous cameras so I can see my family when I'm not home. I'm a Sales rep for Comcast-Xfinity and I love my job, I could talk about all the cool options we have all the time! I hope this helps with your decision. By the way,the lights are LED so they save you money and last for years.
