Q: Hello, is this lamp required to be plugged in at all times? I'm looking for a light that does not need a cord. Like it can be removed and stand-alone while light without power.

A: No it does not need to be plugged in when lit. Only when you are recharging it. You do however need to recharge every other day.

Do not buy this product. It’s an extremely overpriced piece of junk. I’m an engineer, and I’m disgusted at the the quality for $100.

This is a beautiful light but if you plan to keep it outside know that you will have to charge it every other day. That’s the only reason why I gave it 3 stars. Wish it held a charge longer.

These are great, they can be recharged with the USB key and you can fix the colour to stay or random if you wish. Just the right size to. A satisfied customer.
