Q: does this item include the holder for the razors ?

  • A: This item is only the refill blades/cartridges. It does not come with a handle or the holder. The Fusion Proglide and Proshield handle packages do come with one or two cartridges. If you purchase a handle make sure to get the two cartridge package as that is the only package that comes with the holder.

    I bought them around 2015 most probably German made-total two pieces blades with one handle. Used these pair till now around once in a week wet/dry both (usually shave 3 times/week). They are still shaving good in 2026.My beard grows pretty fast/medium dense. I bought/used many other world renowned brands (at least 6 to 7 other brands)-none lasted more than 3 months. It seems after 12 years the last shave took me little more struggle-so going to throw & buy again Gllette. Only thing the lubrication went away long before-but the sharpness work like new blade. Only care I took just lightly wiped the blade with dry towel after wet shaving. I did't want to write the review- but Gillette deserve it.

    Fusion 5 dull blades

    Do not buy these blades, shocked when I bought fusion 5 cartridges and they downgraded the blades so much it’s a struggle to get a week out of them. They are dull and expensive. For around 50 years I’ve been using their blades and never had this issue with dull blades. Shame!

    Cheaply made

    I've been purchasing this brand for over 15 years. These past 4 to 5 years, the quality has gone down the drain. I've also noticed that I'm getting less shaves per cartridge. 6 to 7 before It starts pulling cutting and feeling dull. For the price Im paying you'd think an easy 20 shaves. I don't have thick hair and also just a goatee. Your price is ridiculously over priced but you for look at that or quality anymore huh

    Best blades for me.

    Shave smooth and comfortable. Each blade last least over 6 great close shaves. I have an extremely coarse and hard beard growth. Theses work the best for my needs. Much better to me than the other brands.

    Recently and gladly switched back to Mach 5

    I used my Gillette Mach 5 blade for 16 years. Starting at that age, I didn't realize what I had. So last year I decided to give Harry's a chance cuz it was a little bit cheaper and within the first blade or two I became really fearful of cutting myself. It seemed really easy to nick myself with that razor. So I switched back to my Mach 5 or I guess the fusion 5 and I haven't looked back. It's such a night and day difference in quality of shave. I never worry about cutting myself and I always get a great shave out of it and the blades last longer too.

    Best Yet!

    This is the best razor I’ve found so far. I use it to shave my head, and it leaves my skin smooth with no razor burn. It also features a precision blade on the back, which is perfect for cleanly and shaping your beard to get you right.

    Disappointed

    I've been using this razor for about a month. I haven't noticed that it shaves any closer or more comfortible than my Mach3. It also has a higher price point. I find it heavier and honestly more cumbersome. The cartridge is wider and it's hard to get a close shave up to my nostrils. The swivel head is cute, and I didn't notice anything beneficial with that. I did a comparison with my Mach3 and noticed no difference. I also noticed the blades are very small to fit 5 of them in the cartridge. My consensus is it's more of a gimmick and/or marketing ploy of being better when it's actually not. The only reason it was purchased was because I was looking for Mach III blades and they were not available, so I purchased the Fusion. I am highly disappointed.

    Poor quality plastic

    Blade broke off arm shaving. The tiny piece of cheap plastic clip holding it strapped and became a useless blade. At the cost paid for these it’s a sad waste of money. So disappointed that I spent good $ for something they should have known could happen. Better quality control is needed.

    Bring back the old

    Not sure whats happened to the quality of razor? I could go a month without having to switch. But since I bought this refill beginning of year. I'm going through 1 in two weeks & that's stretching it.

    Still a good razor, but quality...

    I have been using this for quite a few months now. It gives a close shave. However, it seems like the quality of them has gone down over time. More specifically, I have been noticing that after about 6-7 shaves, the blue strip falls off completely. If you want to feel a bad difference when shaving, don't have the blue strip attached.

    Not as good

    I used to get at least three weeks of shaving out of one Gillette blade. These days if I get ten days I'm lucky The current Gillette blades do not last. They can say what they want but I am going to switch to another brand.
