A couple of things may help improve performance: - Try using the broader side of the chisel tip, which typically produces darker, more visible lines than the narrow edge. - Write on a clean whiteboard surface, as residue from older marker ink or cleaning products can sometimes make new ink appear faint. - Gently roll the marker between your hands before use to help the ink distribute more evenly inside the barrel. Don't Erase Cleanly
These markers don't erase cleanly. I have used only Expo brand black, blue, and green markers for years because they reliably erase (I throw away the red markers because they never erase well). This package has terrible markers. the colors are different than my other markers, and they leave a strange film on the board, plus a shadow that is difficult to erase, even with Expo brand whiteboard cleaner.

Very dull
Most of the colors are very dull. It’s weird because I bought a 5 pack, and it came with a purple marker, but only the purple was very pigmented and the rest were so dull. Since I bought them more than 30 days ago, and opened them, I decided to keep the purple and throw away the rest, otherwise I would’ve returned the whole pack. What a waste of money. I drew with my old pointier tipped ones right next to the chiseled tipped ones, so I could compare, and they’re all very dull and lame. The purple is a “yes” but the rest are trash.
