HEDi-Pack Explorer 17" Backpack with Hook & Loop Panels

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I grabbed this backpack for my daughter last minute as I was just shopping around for something new. I especially liked this one because it had the adjustable straps two pockets inside and the exterior pockets. Noticed that the pictures show. The first pocket is completely just empty the second pocket, though he has a laptop pouch and several other things inside. Super cute and very nicely made. I tried to take a close-up picture of the exterior also as it has a black fleece on it super cute and great touch for my daughter. I received an incentive to write this review.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The new HEDi travel backpack is going to make a great upgrade to my sons current diaper bag. For me I prefer a bag that has more pockets and organization to help keep all the little things you need for a toddler close at hand and easy to find. The laptop storage section is large enough for any iPad or tablet your little one needs to have ready at all times. It’s well made and a nice heavyweight canvas, with smooth sliding zippers. It will double as a great travel backpack as he gets older (currently 2.5) and we take more trips. The additional feature of the book and loop Velcro patches to customize it how he likes is awesome too! He can add and take away patches as often as he likes. And you are not limited to just the branded patches, any Velcro patch (with the rough hook and loop side on the back of the patch) will work. I received an incentive to write this review.

It is very versatile and FUN for kids to collect different pataches to apply to the black areas of this gray and black backpack. There are 3 zippered picked in the front ranging in sizes and then the larger main pocket toward the back. My son has his lunch box in it in the pictures and there is still so much room left. Each side has an area to fit a water bottle. It is comfortable on his shoulder and has adjustable straps. I received an incentive to write this review.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This book bag concept is so cool and reminds me of how much my kids love to decorate their water bottles with their favorite stickers. This was the perfect item for my 12 year old boy who loves to travel! The bag has a lot of surface area for patches in many different configurations. I’m shocked how easy it is to put the patches on, just stick in place! They are removable, but the Velcro is strong so I don’t fear the patches will accidentally fall off. There’s so many different compartments and pockets in this bag, including a laptop sleeve so it offers a lot of functionality all while being totally customizable for the user. My son can’t wait to travel to a new location and get more patches! This is a one size kids bag and fits my 12 year old nicely. I received an incentive to write this review.

The front of the backpack has this cool Velcro paneling that allows you to customize the backpack with the company’s patches. I like that it has a sleeve for your laptop and multiple pockets for all your stuff. It’s very comfortable on the shoulders. There are lots of good pockets, including water bottle pockets and a laptop or tablet sleeve! The zippers are heavy duty and the backpack seems are sturdy. It has many large pockets to separate the items in the backpack as well as a dedicated media slot which is so important when everyone has tech devices to haul back and forth to school or their job. We especially love the front which has ample space to personalize the backpack with patches which we cannot wait to get more of. I would definitely recommend. I was actually quite impressed with the durability of it even my daughter was excited about being able to put on the different patches, depending on the interest areas that she chose. Just received my new backpack and I'm so excited to use it for my upcoming vacation. I love that it has two large separate sections to secure my laptop and carry my essentials on my trip. What I really love is being able to customize my pack with these cute patches. Target only had a few to select from, but I order a few more from their website to be able to truly make this my pack.

I couldn't be happier with this backpack. My daughter came home from her last day of school with her backpack crammed full of crap from the year. It was trashed, so that’s where I put it. I plan to do lots of activities this summer so I needed to get her a new one. This backpack is perfect bc it has a laptop sleeve for the school year, and plenty of pockets for her to put all her random stuff. But what sets this backpack apart is the customizable patch feature. You can order patches that reflect your interests or commemorate your experiences, allowing you to personalize the backpack in a way that’s uniquely yours. I’ve been emphasizing the importance of having experiences over having material things for years so this idea hit home for me. I love the idea that she can add whatever patches she wants based on her interests and can remove them whenever she wants! What girl doesn’t like endless options?? She loves it and can’t wait for our trips this summer so she can add patches! Highly recommend
