JanSport packs are designed to fit most 12-24 year olds so trying to fit some younger may be a challenge just from the size of the straps and the pack. A: According to the specs, the all canvas option is washable, but I sprayed mine down with Scotchguard Outdoors, which is made for heavier canvanas material

A: I would say around a pound. It is light weight for a large backpac. The bulk of the weight is in the padding of the laptop compartment and the thick straps. They invested the weight wisely.

A: If you overload the backpack with heavy books, laptop, & accessories the seams will go overtime, so pack wisely, especially for your back. You don't need a whole stationary store in your backpack.

We specifically design our water bottle pockets to fit these large bottles, some of the water bottle companies do change sizes from time to time so it is always best to bring to make sure when making a purchase. A: Is it capable yes, will th3 bottle stay inside the water bottle holder, NO! my child's40 Oz cup with open handle, always manages to come out and drop on the floor. I wouldn't recommend it, but rather a 24 Oz slender vertical bottle.

A: Yes. They can still use it for college & work. I use mine for work & have had it since 2015. I carry a laptop & practically a stationary store in it. I reduce it, but stationary seems to multiply.
