Buy The Classic Steak Knives Instead
Bought these as a replacement for my Classic Henkels Steak knives whose serrated edges were dull. This less expensive knives are inferior in every way to the Classic ones Parton the area of balance. I’m sharpened my old classic knives and they are working great. I’m going to give the new ones away.

Horrible steak knives
The steak knives tear meat with the serrated blade. I hare them. It is like a saw blade. Very cheap made in china. . The other knives are very good.

These are the WORST steak knives I have ever owned, they do not cut thru they shred thru. Bought a set with these, the rest are okay but these steak knives are a disgrace to the brand

Steak knife
The blades are strong, not too thick and sharp, could not ask for improvement. The handles ( the reason I was replacing my old knives) are high quality but thicker than I would prefer. There is No quality issue whatsoever. Just a personal preference. These knives will never disappoint. They are definitely a quality product.

Leave a lot to be desired
I bought these knives expecting that they'd be high quality given the brand's reputation, but these have been a disappointment. First off, contrary to their description, they are NOT dishwasher safe - while they do get cleaned, the handle color fade badly in a washer, going from black to a medium gray in one or two washes - so your stuck hand washing them if you don't want them to look awful. Secondly, like entirely too many products these days, the quality of the stainless steel isn't great. I've had these a bit over six months and many of the 12 I bought are rusting already. It's a shame becasue they're otherwise good knives, with a quality cutting edge and seemingly good construction.

These are the worst steak knives!!!
We got a statement block set as a gift and while the other knives are sharp and we like the heavy feel of them, the steak knives are the absolute worst!!!! They rip and shred the meat when cutting EVERYTIME! We end up using the paring knife to cut meat. I would never recommend Henckels steak knives for nothing. Keep looking!
