The brush helps me to keep my highlights very accurately placed, the cape is high quality and helps me protect my clothes. The little cup is just what I need for mixing cup my root coverage. Easily cleaned up. The cap has a nice hook to hang it in between uses. I highly recommend to anyone that does their own hair at home.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is just the kit I was looking for. I already had my highlight dye, but did not have what I needed to apply. The cape is lightweight but well made. It has a nice tie closure so you can adjust the tightness as you need. The applicator brush is a great size for highlights. I have used it several times and it washes out well too. It is sturdy that it won’t bend all the bristles, but not where it hurts when putting up to your head. The little cup is nice to have. It has side measurements that really come in handy. It is durable, practical and worth every penny. I highly recommend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We like to buy the natural plant dyes from local markets and saw this kit. Great complement. That said, the cup is really small. Could really use a small yogurt sized cup maybe. Brush is natural but not super soft or fine. The cape’s tie side is short, meaning long hair has to be on other side. If you got lots of hair it won’t work to have hair draping both front and back.

My kids love when I color their hair with fun colors and I’ve never had the protection cape before. This has made it so much easier to color their hair and keep them clean.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This application kit arrived packaged in a little box with a nice carrying handle in a gorgeous color of green which also happens to be pretty darn close to the color of the included cape. It helps make the at home hair coloring experience feel a little more luxurious. The cape is a bit short for my liking. The measuring cup has a nice print on the outside and it is about the same size as a medicine dosage cup.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a newly turned 40-year-old woman, I am starting to have to deal With the inevitable grey hair. I am not ready to fully commit to dying my hair every few weeks, but I do have my friend do a glaze to help blend the greys at the Front a little more. Every couple weeks after the initial glaze, I like to use a color depositing conditioner to touch up the roots right at the front and just help the gray hair they hold a little more color. So this kit is nice and it helps me do that on my own. The Cape is a little more plastic than I thought, but it does the job of keeping any drips off my clothes and countertop. The brush is also a different material but nicer because it’s wood instead of plastic. I don’t really know what the value of the measuring cup is because it is so small but I used it to hold a few pumps of the conditioner so I didn’t have to get it on my hands before applying to my root line.

This has everything you need to get started at home, a plastic cover and a brush to get to the roots. I appreciate that its so easy to use and handy. You won’t believe the amount of towels I have ruined by covering my shoulders with it while tinting my hair.

I also really liked the idea that this came with a cape so I didn’t ruin any more shirts. However, I’m not impressed with this product. It gets the job done, but the brush is flimsy and barely fits in the cup, and the cape smells strongly of plastic. I feel that it is overpriced for what it is.

It comes with all the essentials mixing bowl, brush,which makes the whole process feel much more organized and less messy. I really like the quality of the tools; they feel sturdy and easy to use, even for beginners. The brush helps apply color evenly, and the bowl could be a bit bigger size for mixing. It is small.
