This product works best at removing natural color from your hair, unnatural colors are a bit of a toss up when it comes to color removal. For example, if you’re dying your hair blue, you’re not going to get back to blond without doing some serious damage to your hair. This got some of the purple I had out of my hair, but left it a weirder color than I had before I used it… This COULD work for you, just do your own research first.

This product bleached my locs. I haven't put any bleach on my locs. I was removing semi red that I some time apply to my gray hair because I'm salt and pepper. This product not only not take all the color of but bleached my locs. I am thinking of taking legal action against this company.

I brought this to remove semi red off my gray and black hair. When I removed it my hair was orange and blonde. It bleached my locs now I can't where my natural salt and pepper locs because I have bleached patched orange blonde locs. I want to take legal action for this. This is bleaching product and it didn't remove the color

I bought this product without reading the reviews since I purchased it in store. It didn’t remove the semi permanent color I had in my hair and it bleached it in patchy areas. Terrible choice and now I’m once again facing the consequences of my own actions.

Do yourself a favor and shave your head and regrow it all before you destroy it with this product. Yes, it removed the black in my hair, however it continued and lifted my natural hair color underneath the color as well. My hair is now ruined after using this and I'll be crying for a while after this.

This is bleach. It is NOT a color remover.

DO NOT BUY. I bought this without reading the reviews (dumb Ik) but I’ve used color remover in the past with no issues. THIS IS BLEACH! NOT color remover. Absolutely fried my hair off and I had so much breakage after monnnnths of trying to grow out my hair.

I was really disappointed with the color remover. The application was extremely patchy, and it didn’t remove hair color evenly. Some areas were completely missed, while others looked over-treated, leaving my hair looking blotchy and unbalanced. The results were far from what I expected, and it ended up looking horrible. I wouldn’t recommend this product if you’re looking for smooth, even results.

Typically companies will delete bad reviews which is why I gave it 4 starts. But trust me this product doesn't even deserve 1 star. When I opened the box and saw it came with 20v I knew not to use it as it would damage my already bleached hair. I was trying to get blue out but we all know that is a tough color to remove. I did used this product, but with 5v instead and nothing. I was not about to damage my hair by using it with 20v. So I bought Malibu DDL XL. No, I don't work for them or get paid for advertising them, I just want to make sure you all know not to use this product as there are better products out there that won't damage hair. For demi/semi color, the DDL gets mixed with water and no developer, which had me a bit apprehensive. But I tried it figuring water won't damage my hair. I left it in for 15 minutes. ALL the blue was gone and all my hair was back to its light blonde. Definitely a product worth it l, unlike this product.

It’s literal bleach I wish I looked at the reviews before purchasing. ruined the whole point of me trying to strip my hair of dye because the hair underneath wasn’t as light as what I have now. it’s also uneven asf

Horrible do not buy. My hair fell out where product was. I just wanted to take off the dark color, not look like a leopard.

It took the color out. It's pretty much bleach without it saying it is. If you do use it make sure you get something to use in your hair to repair the damage it does. It dried out my hair. I need a deep conditioner to make my hair soft again.

Worked to get Arctic Fox hair dye off my already pre-lightened hair without further damaging it.

10/10 DO NOT RECOMMEND. Got this product to remove temporarily color and it just lighted the red I had in it. It bleach small spots and was just horrible. It's advertised as a color remover when it's just bleach.

I had no luck removing bright pink hair dye with regular shampoo/conditioner, and clarifying shampoo didn't do anything either. I had used the Color Oops product with good results in the past, but noticed the box said it couldn't guarantee removal of pinks and purples. This product didn't mention it couldn't remove those colors. I did know it was bleach-based, but my options were limited. Part of my hair was already bleached because I wanted the pink to pop, but it did lighten my roots. The product had vague instructions (1pt activator to 2 parts developer, but no real measurements to use). My hair is also just below shoulder length (and pretty thin) and there wasn't enough product to cover my entire head. Further, it didn't fully remove the pink. There was still some leftover on my roots and the bottom third of my hair was still pink (the midsection was pretty clear). I'm not sure if it didn't all get removed because there wasn't enough product to fully saturate my hair or if the product isn't as effective as it claims. Because it is bleach-based and did fry my hair a bit, I don't want to go through the process again to try and remove the remaining pink, so I either have to go to a salon and fix my hair or redye it with a darker color and hope for the best. I really can't recommend the product, especially since those with longer hair or thicker hair will have challenges covering most of their hair with the product.

It's Bleach!! This is definitely a color remover if your trying to bleach your hair. This will remove color to an extent but it will also bleach your natural hair if you have new growth. It didnt completely lift the color. I should have just used the brand I usually use that smells like rotten eggs.

It’s practically bleaaach!! dont use this! Opt in for color oops instead! i know its stinky but thats better than to having bleached roots making it an UNEVEN hair color nightmare. it didnt even do what it says its supposed to do!! it only lightened my roots.

despite using exactly as directed for the dyes specified on the box, this absolutely didn’t work for me. more than that, it permanently damaged my hair. i could have simply bleached my hair, and it would have been less damaging than this. i’d suggest avoiding.

Love this color remover. I used the full set which is 4oz of developer plus the activator. I forgot to buy a second kit so I need the extra 2 oz of developer. This stuff is magic. I had a split dye of pale green and dark purple. I used this mostly on the purple. My hair color was blond within 5 min of application. I washed this out after 15-20 min. It did not hurt my hair.

DO NOT BUY. I repeat, DO NOT. Shame on this company and target for even having this product available on the shelf. I followed the directions for semi-permanent hair color, and left it on for 10 minutes… completely bleached my once beautiful hair. I’m seriously considering legal action.
