This product works great and smells wonderful. My child has thick hair and this helps me get the knots out and helps her hair stay smooth. You can definitely tell when I forget to use it! I've already recommended it to someone else. Their hair is finer and thinner, but it worked great for them as well. I have the adult version (apricot fragrance), but I'm switching to this one when mine is empty since it works so much better!

There's better options
We decided to try this since it can be bought in-store, unlike the Hello Bello detangler spray we usually get off Amazon. Aside from being half the price of Hello Bello, this performs a lot worse. The smell is fine but you have to use quite a bit to get the hair smooth enough. It usually takes 2-3 applications for the desired result.

Aussie Kids' Moist Detangling Spray
I have long and thick hair that tangles easlier after I wash it. I used to hate combing out all the tangles. I found this in a Target store In June 2025 . It says Kid's but it works well with adult's hair too. I just spray it iin, and I can comb through my hair easliy now! The only problem I have with this item is that it can be hard to find. I think that is because it works so well.
