Q: is this product tear free?

A: We have not carried out a specific tear-free test, but we can confirm that the product is safe for children’s eyes. We designed the product to be mild and gentle to eyes and skin. For example, its pH is similar to that of the skin. We also chose time-tested ingredients proven to be mild, and tailored the formulation for gentle cleaning.

Q: Does this still lather up, since it doesn't have sulfates? We have hard water, and shampoos that don't lather don't rinse out of my hair.

I only write reviews if I really love the product or really hate it! This shampoo and the matching conditioner is AMAZING! My daughter has a head full of beautiful spiral curls but it gets so easily knotted. The shampoo lathers great and just one squirt is enough. The conditioner makes her hair sooooo soft and the brushing is much much easier for mom! Best that I have found so far!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think it's very cool that Aussie now has a kids shampoo line and I'm even more in love with the fact that it's sulfate free. Another unique benefit is that this particular product is for kids with curly hair. My boy has wavy hair and I liked how much more manageable this product made his hair

I’m rating this 4 stars just because the smell is so over powering. Not saying it doesn’t smell GOOD. It’s just a really strong mango scent. But, my girls hair is so soft and didn’t really bring out much curl! But, definitely soft and got it under control for sure.

My son is mixed and has curly hair. As soon as his hair was wet and I put this shampoo in, his hair would get tangled up. It would take forever to work out the tangles. I do his hair everyday and never had this problem with any other product. This by far is the worst product I’ve ever used on his hair. I got it since it was cheaper than what I usually use and some of the reviews were good. I will say, the smell was good. The other Aussie curl products outside of the shampoo and conditioner worked well on his hair. I’m not sure what it was about this shampoo, but it’s absolutely horrible.

My toddler doesn’t care much about this as it’s not tear free formula. I adopted it after recently finishing up my own. Totally love it. It cleans well and won’t dry up my hair.
