Q: is this product tear free?

A: We have not carried out a specific tear-free test, but we can confirm that the product is safe for children’s eyes. We designed the product to be mild and gentle to eyes and skin. For example, its pH is similar to that of the skin. We also chose time-tested ingredients proven to be mild, and tailored the formulation for gentle cleaning.

Q: Does this still lather up, since it doesn't have sulfates? We have hard water, and shampoos that don't lather don't rinse out of my hair.

My son is mixed and has curly hair. As soon as his hair was wet and I put this shampoo in, his hair would get tangled up. It would take forever to work out the tangles. I do his hair everyday and never had this problem with any other product. This by far is the worst product I’ve ever used on his hair. I got it since it was cheaper than what I usually use and some of the reviews were good. I will say, the smell was good. The other Aussie curl products outside of the shampoo and conditioner worked well on his hair. I’m not sure what it was about this shampoo, but it’s absolutely horrible.

Works well enough, and ingredient list is decently clean. I don’t know if it really helps with the curls or not, but it does clean my sons hair nicely and it isn’t too harsh. We condition with an Honest brand conditioner afterward.

If I could give this item zero stars, I would. Intensely strong fragrance. Left me with breathing problems and we had to rewash our kids’ hair. Even that didn’t fix the problem and they still stunk of the fragrance. Going immediately into the trash.

My daughter has a lot of curly hair and I struggled finding a good kid friendly shampoo that actually cleansed well. I couldn’t get her hair/scalp to smell completely clean. I bought this on a whim one day and I absolutely love it. It really makes her hair feel clean and it smells great. Her hair is very soft after each use as well. Paired it with the matching conditioner and that works just as great too. I appreciate the large size bottle.

It is rare to find a great product that is great for little ones with curly hair. Many other products have either dried her hair out or weighed her curls down, but this one has done the complete opposite! I am a long time fan of the Aussie brand, so I am so glad I can add this one into our routines. It smells great, refreshes hair, and leaves it looking beautiful. I am so appreciative that it is sulfate free, and I feel as if it has made a difference in her hair. Her curls are fuller, bouncier, and more full of life. I give it a 10/10!
