I have curly unmanageable hair that frizzy up this helps control my curls and no build up like with some other products my hair stays soft and silky only other product I use before it is the aussie detangler which is also incredible and smells good too. Crispy curls, can't scrunch it out
way, way, way too crunchy. I cannot scrunch out the crunch no matters how much I try. It doesn't work well as a refresher spray or as a spray gel for initial styling. It does not reduce frizz. It has good hold but it's not really worth it.

Reformulated! Still good, but not as good
I’ve used this product for a while now and really love how it’s CG friendly and gives my curls good definition and shine at such an affordable price point. However, when I recently picked up a new bottle I noticed that the design looked a little different, and my reformulation suspicions were confirmed when I compared the ingredient list on the new bottle to my old bottle and saw that things had changed a bit. It’s still a good product for refreshing my curls in the morning, but the hold and definition that it provides isn’t as good as it used to be, so my curls end up looking a bit messier. This makes sense because the bottle now says “medium hold” instead of “maximum hold.” It used to be that the spray would give my curls a bit of a “cast” that I would scrunch out, but it doesn’t do that anymore. I guess some people might not have liked that aspect of the old formula, but I did because it really helped with definition. I will likely still keep using this because it’s such a good value for a silicone free curl refreshing/defining product, but I will miss the old formula.

Long lasting hold and definition!!
This is hands down the best curl gel Ive ever used. I follow the Curly Girl rules, so I am thrilled that this product is silicone free!! I am amazed at how strong the hold is without the frizz inducing alcohol of traditional hair sprays. I apply to damp hair and it dries to bouncy curls that last all day!!
