Marc Anthony Strictly Curls Curl Defining Lotion Hair Gel & Heat Protectant - Vitamin E - 8.3 fl oz

I had a horrible experience with this product. From the very first use, my hair felt noticeably drier, more tangled, and lost all shine—it became dull and lifeless. Worse, I started experiencing more hair fall than usual, which was extremely concerning. Every time I touched my hair, tiny white particles would flake off, almost like dandruff (which I don’t have), making it look and feel dirty. It was frustrating and embarrassing. I had high hopes based on the brand, but this product did the complete opposite of what it promised for curly hair. Definitely would not recommend—use with caution if you care about your curls and scalp health.

I've been using it for a while it's a good product I won't lie it does help with frizz and all that but if I'm being honest it's overrated like it's not worth all that hype and it's a bit expensive but it doesn't reach the standard of how it's priced

I have used the Strictly Curls curl defining LOTION for years with great results. I've loved this product and so I was so disappointed when I abruptly noticed they had changed the formula. Now my hair does NOT survive the day frizz free and my curls fall. Please offer the old formula again!

I've been buying the Marc Anthony Curl Shampoo & Conditioner along with the Curl Envy cream, spray in conditioner and sometimes using the curl moose for awhile now. Probably started buying it a year ago or more. It was very affordable and made my curls look awesome! But here recently my head has been itching horribly and it's red, irritated and some sores even from the itching. When I looked it up I saw other people who had the same issues as I am having. Some people are saying that they recently changed the formula. They are stating that it is more of a white gel feel to it than a creamy conditioner feel. I don't know if that's the reason it is just now bothering me or if it just took awhile for the high alcohol content to dry out my scalp? But either way this is horrible! They need to take it off the shelf and not sale it at all or fix the problem with it! This company should not be allowed to sell a product like this that is affecting that many people! Now I have to find a fragrance free shampoo and conditioner and something else to treat my scalp. This is absolutely ridiculous and I would not recommend this product anymore!

The product said is frizz control and defined the curls bouncy hair BUT you ended with Flaky white residue all of your hair looking like you need to wash your hair if you have blonde hair and curly this product is perfect for you but for latinas that have dark hair no Good 😔

This product is amazing. Ot leaves your hair soft and it smells really good.

When I was new to the strictly curls line I thought I was buying a bigger bottle of the Cream but got home and tried this. It does not work the same and that might be my bad but this did nothing but make my hair even more dry.

I have been using for a few weeks now and my curls are more defined, less frizzy and locked in for a couple of days. The product is soft in my hair too when dry to touch. I brush my hair with a big brush before applying and before washing. I don’t have a lot of hair so am happy to see it sitting this way. 😊

Originally I loved how this made my curls look and the hold it had on my hair but over time it RUINED my hair, my curls are now dry and brittle, and when I apply anything to my hair and start detangling it feels like my hair is a synthetic wig. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND.

After using this line including the shampoo, conditioner, curl cream and gel. I’ve experienced such terrible hair breakage unlike anything. My hair has always been so healthy and I was experience awful split ends getting out a control just a few weeks after a hair cut. These products smell great and I think gave great definition to my curls, but I need to stop using them to save my hair.

I loved this product but with the new formula change it's terrible. Instead of the lovely soft curls i used to get with the old formula it now dries my hair and turns it into a frizz ball. Now I have to search for a new product. Such a shame, as the old formula was perfect.

Leaves my daughters curls manageable and soft.

Left my hair with dry white flakes it was a horrible tried with dried hair and tried it after a shower and still same thing. My hair dried Soo horrible. Waste of money 😭

More of a gel than lotion. Love the shampoo and conditioner but this product dried my hair out, caused knots, and left flaking

I bought it 2 months ago and I am so in love!!! Finally I found a product that do for my curls what it says it does!!!! I live on a very hot and humity state and i was frustrated with the frizz. Now my curls are soft and bouncy and very little frizz. Now I am trying other of there products. Let se how it goes!!!

I have type 4 hair, this is my 2 or 3rd time purchasing. Product is not heavy but works just as good as a heavy product without leaving the hair weighed down or gummy. Therefore, it would work for looser curl patterns as well.

In just a couple of usages my hair dried out completely. From soft, shiny curls to straw. I‘m so upset. I‘m deep conditioning it now and hope the damage isn’t permanent.
