Idk I didn’t understand the hype. I have 3C-4A curls and this spray doesn’t do it for them. I guess I should’ve looked more at the product and how it dispenses but it also doesn’t smell good on my hair when it’s damp. Trial and error though. I wouldn’t recommend it.

I bought this along with the curl cream and was very disappointed. When applying the products for the first time the left over leave in and curl cream on my hands started pilling and getting white specs in my hair. After a few weeks of only using this leave in regularly I have noticed red pimple like bumps on along my hair line, my scalp has been very itchy and my hair has been greasy as early as a few hours after my hair dries. I have 2 b-c hair with more wavy near my roots and defined ringlets towards the ends of my hair but since using the curl talk products my hair refuses to hold any type of curl even with a gel. These are my personal experiences however and how it went for me.

I didn’t choose the curl life — the curl life chose me. And thank goodness Not Your Mother's Curl Talk Leave-In Conditioner chose me back. This 6 oz bottle of curly magic has officially earned a permanent spot in my hair care hall of fame. First of all, the smell? Like a tropical vacation where the only plans are beach naps and bouncy curls. The texture is creamy but not heavy, and my hair drinks it up faster than I down iced coffee on a Monday. Frizz? Tamed. Definition? Poppin’. Crunch? Nowhere to be found — just soft, touchable spirals that actually look like I tried. I used to dread detangling like it was a full-time job, but this stuff makes my comb glide like it’s on roller skates. And did I mention it plays nice with other products in the Curl Talk line? Power couple energy. Highly recommend if your curls need a little pep talk — or a love letter in conditioner form. 💁♀️✨

It was kind of hard to remove the little plug, but this was easy to spread! However, if your lengths tend to feel more dry or straw like, you might have to use a lot of this or just use a different leave in. I like that this also doubles as a heat protectant, but I think I definitely need more moisture for my hair. Other than that, it's great!
