I have wavy hair decided to give this brand a try because the reviews seemed good saying it hydrated their hair. It did not do that for me when my hair air dried it was super dry and frizzy

This product now contains Xylitol, when it previously did not. Xylitol is extremely toxic to dogs. Even small amounts of xylitol can cause hypoglycemia (low blood sugar), seizures, liver failure, or even death in dogs. Keep in mind when spraying this product it will disperse into the air and get on the floor where you spray it. It’s not worth the risks and the damage it can cause to your pets. They need to remove this crap because it worked better without it. The old formula was better. Its purpose is non functioning in this product as it is.

This whole line works amazingly for my curls! My curl pattern has drastically changed for the better. I use the curl talk shampoo, conditioner, and mask in the shower. I never thought I could get away with just spray leave in for a wash-n-go! Hardly any frizz! My hair loves this stuff. I’m probably on my 6th bottle. I do wish they had a bigger Oz option. I also love the foam and styling gel! It’s taken so long to find products that work for my hair. I don’t know exactly what hair texture I have, maybe 2C-3A? Overall, I would recommend this ENTIRE LINE! I tell everyone about it.

This is in regards to shipping issues. I ordered this online with other misc items and they just placed it with all my items not even sealed up in a small bag but just on top of everything. Me and my 3 kids have diff curl patterns. Ranging from thin wavy fuzzy ringlets to tight coil thick ringlets and everything in between. You have to figure out how much works for you it works so well on many curl patterns. Note I recommend dampening hair 1st.

This makes my hair so soft and shiny, and brings out my waves - especially when I pair it with Pacifica's Pineapple Swirl Curl Cream! While my hair is still damp, I'd spritz it all over with Not Your Mother's "Curl Talk," and distribute it evenly with my fingers. Then, I'd melt a dime - sized amount of Pacifica's "Pineapple Swirl" Curl Cream in between my palms, and apply that to my hair using the "scrunching" motion. Afterwards, I'd let my hair air - dry. You may also use a diffuser, I just don't have one.

For reference, I have very long hair with a loose curl pattern (that tightens up if I cut my hair shorter). I have a thick head of hair, but the individual hairs are fine and can sometimes be weighed down/appear greasy with certain products. All of that being said! --I started out with Not Your Mother's curl cream. I wanted to nourish my hair and help define my curl a bit more. I loved the curl cream! It didn't leave my hair feeling greasy or heavy, and it smells amazinggg. When I ran out of the cream, I purchased this--the leave-in conditioner-- just to try another product, and so far I've been very happy with it! What was very impressive about it for me was, I accidentally showered and only shampooed but didn't condition my hair recently (because of having thick hair, but thin individual hairs, not conditioning tends to be a detangling nightmare). I sprayed some of this in, gave it a combing, and the comb slid through like butter. It leaves my hair feeling soft, smells very nice, and helps with flyaways.

I used to love this product around 2020-2021ish but the formula has changed in a way that I really struggle with finding use for this product anymore! It used to be a slightly thick/creamy consistency but now it's super watery and drowns my hair/weighs it down, rather than perking it up as it used to. It's very disappointing because my hair type is very unruly and is prone to lots of frizz and being dried out, but the old formulation of this product used to define my hair and would easily start forming curls even just right after spraying it on! But now, it just seems like the formula has been changed and/or completely watered down, as the consistency is no longer thick and spreadable or creamy, but now liquified and thin, like water practically. :( I wish they would go back to the old formula!
