My daughter has very long, straight hair and to say it's been difficult to manage over the years is an understatement. We've tried everything for knots, including high end products and personal recommendations from family and friends, but nothing has helped more than a few sprays of Suave Apple Detangler Spray! It makes brushing her hair easy again and works like magic in her thick hair and it smells great! No other formulas or products compare and it is very affordable! This really helped with my daughters tangles, she has a sensitive scalp. She use to cry before I even brush her hair, she hates brushing her hair very long hair. I used this and when I tell her “let brush your hair” she runs to grab the brush and this product. She doesn’t dread me brushing her hair anymore. I’ve used it a few times with some stubborn knots and it really eases the tangles out.

Wanted to love. Let me start off by saying that the price mark is nice and the smell is great. I tried using this on my daughters hair when she was around 4. It did nothing for us. Her hair is always a tangled mess, even after conditioner. I would soak her hair with this and it didn't help at all. Not a good choice for us.

The only change that was made to this product was the bottle so I do not understand the people who are unnecessarily hating on this product just because the brand decided it needed a new look (talking about the people who are mad over the bottle design)… the smell is exactly the same and it detangles my hair well exactly how it used to. I have been using this product since elementary and I am now in my second year of college. I love the fresh apple scent it smells as if you cut a crisp green apple and many have complimented how good my hair has smelled :) Get this product if you want your hair to smell good, it is great for detangling but I honestly spray it on for the smell! This product is hard to find now-a-days so get it while you can!

Okay, so I read the previous review about the lady who has hair depression, and I’m the same way. I had postpartum depression where I would just let myself go and not brush my hair. THIS. IS. MAGIC. A must have!!! Works great for kids too, but works amazing for adults as well! I’m now currently pregnant with #2 and now my hair is starting to become really curly and knotty, and it can comb through my curls with ease! It also makes my curls more noticeable and healthy looking. Everyone has been giving me compliments about how good my hair looks and “what perfume are you wearing” - y’all, it’s the dang suave detangler ! WHO KNEW?! and it’s like three bucks.
