Like these “lean” bacon bits - no white fat visible. Tasty in some scrambled eggs with cheese or for a loaded baked potato. Healthier choice vs. bacon strips.

Sometimes good, sometimes just under cooked fat chucks. Need better quality controls in their manufacturing. One more bad bag and I am done purchasing these. Love it when the quality is good.

flavor was there, but the grizzle—chewy at times, hard as rock unchewable at all at other times was so unappetizing. will not purchase again.

Delicious. Easy to chew unlike other brands. A little on the pricey side but worth it for the taste, soft texture and flavor.

I really like giant eagle brand bacon bits and I grabbed these instead so I wouldn't have to make another stop, they aren't bad, just a little too gristley for me. It worked in a pinch.

Not sure of why Hormel has changed the quality of the bacon in this particular product but WOW! It use to represent it's labling well. However, since the latter part of 2023 the contents is nasty. I detect that they have added fatty bits of the bacon, (it can't possibly be 40% less fat anymore) also my last packages had a "fatty grease gel" like substance in it. Hormel,....what have you done?! :-(

These use to be my go to bacon bits, but my recent purchase were not good. More hard to chew fat than meat. It wasn’t like this a few months ago. Not happy at all. Will look for another brand.

When I purchased the back of the product was cut so the item was stale and hard.

Curbside pickup. This had some kind of white stuff all in the bag. Accidentally ruined dinner by sprinkling some of it on baked chicken before seeing what was on it. Asked for a refund. Was credited $5 for a $5.99 purchase. Not ok

I ALWAYS used to love this Brand & This particular variety of bacon bit/topper.. Always. It was a staple in my household growing up & continued to be in My Own as an adult. So; we are talking DECADES of Devout loyalty here! It WAS the Highest Quality- Meatiest (REAL & Flavorful Bacon in Every Bite), No “Junk, Pieces-Parts” Bites (like scrap bits found in other brands), etc.. BUT, Nowww; Things Have CHANGED!! Oh, HORMEL! What in the World!?!! I, typically buy the smaller size bits in the bottle/jar. But, I was having trouble finding those. So, I bought the bagged (6oz size) bits.. TERRIBLE!! There was FAR More FAT & Pieces composed of Some Tough, rather Unidentifiable relentlessly chewy matter. VERY LITTLE ACTUAL BACON! I thought.. ”Hmm, Maybe it’s something with the bagged type. I’ll just be sure to stick to the smaller size in the bottle”. Well; I’ve purchased several bottles since then. SADLY; I find myself essentially sorting/sifting through Each & Every bit I dole out (Very Tedious, by the way) just to ensure no mouth ends up full of Fat or some Mystery Gristly/Rubbery mess.

So convenient for omelets or on pizza easier than cooking bacon and no fat pieces

Product looks like dog food. This is my first time buying this brand (I love Welshire brand) Some pieces required a lot of chewing some pieces were just very hard. They were very salty. Threw product away.

Quality has gone way down the last year or so. The majority of the package is fatty unchewable bits. Not pleasant to bite down on when trying to enjoy a crunchy salad.

I don't know if I got a bad batch or what, but this product is SUPER FATTY. I've been buying this for many years and this past year it's gotten progressively more fatty and less quality meat and flavor, now this is just inedible.
