I've used this product many times in the past without any issue, however this last time it was terrible. I don't know if I got a bad batch or if they changed the product but there was no flavor and it was like chewing rubber. This totally ruined a breakfast meal that I made, I won't be buying this product again.

Like most foods in America it's crap! Use to be a quality product! Now it's imitation bacon with some big hard pieces that can crack your teeth! I want my money back. And you get less and now pay twice as much? You no longer have integrity Hormel from going from quality to crap and charging more for it! I will no longer buy this product. So disappointing!

I bought a bag of your real crumbled bacon five pounds. The bits in the bags the cooked and they are a nice size. But on the 20 oz bag it says, "5 lbs of uncooked bacon." So, what's the story...

Your Hormel Real Bacon Bits is a very great product. It's delicious and for me, it has health benefits. It stops skin problems and makes my skin look radiant. I rarely eat it, but when I do, I really love it! Thanks for making this outstanding product! I sprinkle it on cooked Angel Hair Pasta, and it tastes very good, like this. It goes great on eggs, omelettes and on top of salads, as well. It can also be sprinkled on top of cheese burgers, sandwiches, and mixed into meatloaf, before cooking it. Thanks again for this great product!! Love it!!
Great!

Over the last few months, it has become obvious the quality of the bacon had gone seriously downhill. I used to be excited to open a new bag to taste and smell the fresh bacon, but now when I open a bag it's just full of fat chunks, with minimal meat. Something has seriously changed in the quality of the bacon recently. This has occurred with multiple bags. Please fix this, we consumers have noticed!

Quality is now terrible - not bits, too fatty, greasy

This is no longer the usual, consistent product it used to be. Over the last 2 years or so, the bits are now chunks, what was almost entirely meat is now 20% fat, and it is not dried.

For years these have been my favorite! Over the last year the quality has been declining. I opened a new bag today and it sounded like rocks as I shook the contents into a pan! These pieces are so big and hard I could break a tooth. Inedible. What has happened Hormel?

Looks like Loyal many year customers from all over the country are appalled with the quality they has come to rely on. Will check elsewhere! Get it together Hormel. Product quality & consistency are King.

My mother and I have both bought Hormel Bacon Bits for years and years. They have always, unfailingly, been the best on the market... until recently. The last bag we bought was just full of fat and grease, completely inedible. Next we tried the Hormel Bacon Bits jar from a different grocery thinking maybe our usual store just got a bad batch but they were worse but in a different way. They have no fat, no softness and are so dark and hard that we were afraid the bacon bits might break someone's teeth! I am disappointed and distressed to have wasted my money.

What in the heck happened to Hormel's bacon bits?!?

I have used Hormel's bacon bits for many years. They were seriously the best quality and the meatiest bits until the last few months. Lately, every package has a large quantity of fat, which was never the case before. In fact, they have become low quality bacon bits, comparable to that of Oscar Meyer. I understand that the cost of everything is higher now due to inflation, but unfortunately it appears that Hormel has decided to cut company costs by sacrificing the quality of it's product.
