Drop the included Hot Wheels 1:64 scale vehicle into the booster and send it zooming through a crash-zone and then into 4 loops.
The motorized booster keeps the car moving continuously and allows for kids to add additional cars, building the anticipation for an epic crash. (Additional cars sold separately.)
The set folds in half and has a convenient handle for storage and transport.

Q: We have noticed the same thing - wondering what other cars can be used? None of our other hot wheels cars work with this track - only the one car thats included.

A: I saw on another forum about this track that the X-Raycers hot wheels cars work best, but not all of them either. Also, check for a "loop" symbol on the bottom, these are suppose to be better..

A: The smaller, skinner type of cars will, but they don't have a certain type. It was a bummer when literally almost 30 cars didn't work.

Q: Which specific hot wheels cars can I get that will make it around this track? The same kind as the one that was included? My sons tested at least 10 that we already have and they are all seemingly too heavy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The force of the cars once the batteries are activated can be extremely dangerous if you happen to get hit. The loops add an element of excitement, and the overall structure is impressive, but safety is a significant concern!

Waste of Money
This was a Christmas gift for our 3 year old and it doesn’t work. The car won’t make a full cycle around the loops. This is an expensive gift for terrible quality. After reading other reviews this shouldn’t even be on the market. It’s a disappointment to the kids excited to play with it.

Poor design. No cars will stay on the track. We bought the cars Mattel suggests in this review forum, none work. We use fresh batteries each time, nothing. It’s simply a bad design.

Terrible - do not buy!
I can’t find a car that can go all the way around the track. Even the car supplied doesn’t work, I can’t buy loop cars separately you have to buy a whole pack of mixed cars. We have enough hot wheels cars at home already and none work on the track. Ridiculous. It is impossible to take apart once put together so very difficult to return. Awful product!

How is it even legal to keep selling something that doesn’t work. It was a gift, or I never would have bought it considering the reviews and they were so right. My child is so disappointed.

We bought it for Christmas gift and its just waste of money does not work well and this is the second one we bought do not waste ur money on these cant even return it to store threw box away but it is not worth it at all do not bring ur kids hopes up with this and finish building it and not work how it should

We bought this for our boy and, like many other people who purchased this product, it does not work with any other cars. Even the car that came with the track only works half of the time. Definitely seems like they did not even test the product before putting it into production. I would not recommend.

None of the cars we've tried work with this track. We've tried at least 50 different cars and none are able to make it through the loop.

A brilliant piece of engineering
I want to say that I was an original Hot Wheels kid. I played with mine and was not a collector. My grandson is the same way. We have purchased lots of track sets for him growing up, all ended up beyond repair. I can honestly say that that this is the best engineered toy I have ever assembled. We set it up this Christmas and have played with it for hours. Four cars going through the loops all at once is exciting and the crashes are sometimes violent. This is what Hot Wheels are all about. Thank you for building the best toy cars ever made.

Awesome but other cars incompatible
It’s an awesome track. We love it, except none of our other 50+ hot wheels cars work with it. One of the reasons we chose this track over others was because my son loves to crash things. But if none of the other cars work with it, it defeats the purpose. Super disappointing. Would love to find other cars that might work with it.

I was very disappointed when we got the track all set up, ready for car crashing action, only to find out that not even the car that came with it will make it through the track. It barley makes it through the 2nd loop before losing all momentum. I would have gotten my son something different for Christmas had I been diligent to read the reviews. The fact that this made it to market and then stayed on the market is astounding to me. It looks cool, the concept is cool, but functionality is atrocious. If I could give less than one star I would. I have a very disappointed son - what seemed like an awesome Christmas gift turned out to be a complete dud.

Don’t waste your money
I bought it a month ago for my son’s late November birthday and it didn’t even last until Christmas. The original car worked at first and we found 2 other of the 60 or so cars we have that would also run the whole track but soon none would work. My theory is once the batteries start losing the first tiny ounce of power then the cars don’t get the speed they need at the launch. Big design flaw!! Very sad waste of plastic :(
