Okay thoughts on the Houdini Electric Wine Aerator: Super cool gadget. Hate when I have to put in batteries, but not a big deal. Easy to assemble and use. Great for my reds. Not a fan of having to fill a water bottle to clean it out, but still doable. Future problem I see is the extension tube is a little on the shorter side.

I received these products for free from the Hey, Bullseye™ sampling program in exchange for my honest review. This is actually very nice for the price. Quickly aerates wine. Easy to assemble. It isn't difficult to clean. Tubing is solid plastic that goes into the bottle.

I absolutely love this electric wine aerator and dispenser! It has completely changed the way I enjoy wine at home. With just the press of a button, it perfectly aerates and pours wine directly into my glass—no mess, no fuss. The 2-in-1 design is so convenient. It instantly enhances the flavor and aroma of my wine, just like it’s been decanting for 20 minutes, and the adjustable aeration switch lets me fine-tune it for different wine types. I also really appreciate the precision spout; it gives me a smooth, drip-free pour every time. The extendable stainless steel tube is a great touch for easy cleaning and fitting different bottles, and the fact that it runs on batteries means I can take it anywhere—from dinner parties to picnics. Overall this product works as described and efficiency moved the wine from the bottle to the glass. It's very easy to use. What I really wanted though was more information about when to use it, with what kinds of wine, and in what circumstances you'd use the extra airation option switch, but it provided no information whatsoever on this. Also, the instruction sheet has conflicting information on which type of batteries were needed.

I have always wanted a wine aerator. I never knew the joys of using it with my favorite red wine. It’s very easy to use. You place it on top of an opened bottle of wine and lock it into place. It then pulls and pours by just pressing the button. It is battery operated so keep 4 AAA batteries on hand.

I’m not sure how necessary this is over a “manual” aerator. It is a little less messy and it’s not very noisy. It takes 4 aaa batteries. If you drink a lot of wine this might be a convenient addition.

I had the chance to try both the Houdini Electric Wine Aerator and Dispenser, as well as the Houdini Vacuum Wine Preserver with two stoppers. The aerator and dispenser works well overall—the flavor of the wine is noticeably smoother and it pours nicely when the bottle is full. However, once the wine level gets low, the straw isn’t quite long enough to reach the bottom of the bottle. This causes it to stop dispensing smoothly, which can be a little frustrating. On the other hand, the vacuum wine preserver with stoppers is fantastic. You simply place the stopper in the bottle, use the pump, and it creates a tight seal. I tested it by turning the bottle upside down, and it didn’t leak at all. It truly helps keep wine fresh for longer. Overall, I would rate these products a 3 out of 5 stars. The vacuum preserver is excellent, but the short straw on the electric aerator keeps it from being a perfect set.

This is a nice little bottle top aerator. You can have it aerate or just pour without aeration with the on/off switch. Takes 4 AAA batteries. The hose is stainless and is adjustable in length, just pull it all the way out and it will collapse to the right length when you insert it in the bottle. Super easy one button operation. The only downside is it does hold a little wine in the spout and will drip out over time, so have something to catch the wine drips.

My father-in-law often comes over, and we keep a few bottles of Chianti on hand for him. He usually drinks a glass or two per visit, so leveraging this with an open bottle of red seemed to be a great idea. Now we've only used it once so far, but it was easy to install on the bottle and no complaints on the taste of the wine, overcall functionality or anything. My only concern would be keeping the product clean post use. Aside from that though, would recommend.
