Houdini Electric Wine Corkscrew Set: Stainless Steel & ABS, 6-Piece Barware, Battery Operated Wine Opener, Black

Purchased at Target as a gift about a year ago. The foil cutter cuts a cap of foil off. Then this device fits on top of wine bottle. You press button and in seconds the cork has been removed, requiring no pulling or twisting. Then you press button the other way and it spits the cork out effortlessly. If you want to reuse the cork you can, but they provide two special reusable stoppers and an aerating pouring insert. The reusable stoppers have a built-in pump to create a vacuum in the wine bottle by simply pumping up and down rapidly until you can feel resistance. The opener uses four AA batteries which in my opinion is a lot better than an opener with rechargeable battery because you can't quickly replace a rechargeable battery when it runs down and it takes hours to charge. You can quickly replace AA batteries anytime in seconds. While a lot of wine out, there comes in a screw cap bottle, there are still loads of wine bottles that have a cork. This device makes corked wine bottles easier to open than screw cap types.

I ordered this and only received the opener i wanted the entire 6 piece I sent someone to pick it up so they weren't aware the order was wrong. Definitely upset was a last minute Christmas gift.

It’s not even a year old, and it’s broken. We thought it needed new batteries, but that didn’t help. It just seems to have lost its power.

This is the best bottle opener kit I've ever tried and quickly fell in love with it! This is easy and quick to use. The foil cutter quickly cuts a perfect little foil cap off the bottle. The opener is super easy and fun! Just place it on the top of the cork, press the button until it stops. The cork has been removed from the bottle and pressing the button to the opposite direction quickly kick the corck out. The pouring spout aerates the wine as you pour it and the corks to place in the bottle for keeping the win fresh in the bottle is heaven sent! The storage tray keeps everything together for that next bottle of wine. All of the items in the kit are well constructed and of excellent quality.

The Houdini electric wine corkscrew set is super convenient and easy to use. We have had issues opening bottles of wine with our manual corkscrew. This required 4 AA batteries and worked well to remove the cork. I’m not sure of the longevity of battery life or the corkscrew itself if it is used frequently. The stoppers, foil cutter, and aerater are a nice addition to the set. The pieces fit into the storage tray, but does fit a little loose and not heavy duty. Overall, this is a great option for those who want the ease of an electric wine opener with extra accessories.

This electric corkscrew works wonders if you have ever struggled with traditional corkscrews in the past. It is very sleek and modern looking on your kitchen cabinet or bar area Simple operation as you place the device over a bottle of wine press the button and let it work its magic removing the cork You then just press the button up to remove the used cork. Will be using this a lot at Christmas and the New Years Runs on 4 AA batteries and works with different types of wine or sparkling and can easily be put away when not in use has acceessories that are useful and stored on it's own stand

This is amazing! I have so many issues with opening wine bottles. The regular openers usually leave part of the cork or break off. This takes it off efficiently and easily. I have issues with my hands and this makes my life a whole lot easier.

This electric corkscrew is great. It's very handy to have so you're not struggling with a corkscrew, especially if you've had a few glasses. Would make a freat gift for the wino in yoir life. The batteries last long too.

I was concerned about this being a battery powered (requires actual batteries, and is not rechargeable) corkscrew. While the life of the battery is still to be determined, this definitely exceeded my expectations when it comes to functionality. I was able to open three bottles consecutively in a matter of a couple minutes, and the resulting cork was not mangled and almost appeared still sealed though you can see the corkscrew go through the entire cork before it is retracted. Looking forward to continuing to use this item.

The set does not take up a lot of space on my kitchen counter. The corkscrew is battery operated and requires 4 AA batteries. I could not find a bottle of wine with a cork, so that part was not reviewed. But the foil cutter, aerator/pourer and stoppers all worked well.

I received the Houdini Electric Wine Corkscrew Set and used it to open a bottle of wine for Thanksgiving. It was so easy to use and is easy to store. I am looking forward to opening my next bottle of wine for Christmas using this.

This is a very nice electric wine opener set. It works great and it’s also very classy. Just sitting out in an area with your wine and glasses. It would make a great gift or a gift gift for yourself. I would definitely recommend.

I received the Houdini Electric Wine Opener for free, from the Hey Bullseye Sampling Program in exchange for my honest review. This works perfectly. Opens up the wine without any issues. It does not stop midway through when trying to uncork. It does not destroy the cork. This Houdini opener truly opens your wines. Very easy to use. I like this one a lot. I will buy this in the future for gifts. Easy to store in my buffet. The accessories are excellent to have for the wine. Just perfect!

The Houdini Electric Wine Corkscrew Set is as functional as it is attractive. The foil cutter performed well, and the corkscrew element was easy to use and did not split the cork. Four AA batteries are required to operate the corkscrew. (not included) There are two sealing stoppers and a breather included. I did not use these, but they seem to be high quality.

Such a great set, it’s super affordable for the price and what you get with. It definitely looks fancy while not having that same price tag. The electric corkscrew takes 4 double A batteries and it’s super easy to use. Very happy with it, highly recommend, if you’re on the fence, just go for it!

Priced under $30 this set comes with a foil cutter, aerating pourer, two vacuum pump sealers and the electric (requires 4 AA batteries) corkscrew which all is neatly stored on a black base. Easy to operate and if you have wine left, the vacuum pump buys you about 7 days to finish up the wine.
