OXO Softworks Corkscrew: Manual Wine Bottle Opener, Black, Hand Wash, Metal & Plastic, Cordless, 6.7" Height

Cheaply made, lightweight and corkscrew is so wobbly. I am returning it.

Works really well. Actually feels sturdy and makes opening cork bottles a breeze

Every time I tried to take a cork out with this corkscrew, it didn't go in deep enough to make the cork easy to pull out. Ended up breaking every cork in half and had to use a second time to get rest of cork out. Found a $2 one with metal parts at a thrift store that works much better. Back to the drawing board with the OXO one.

It’s too short to remove corks. Useless.

It worked and easy to open

I have many OXO products which are normally good quality and well designed. This cork screw was a big disappointment. It’s poorly designed, too short, so it doesn’t go all the way to the end of the Cork and when you push the arms down, the cork doesn’t come out. I’ll be returning it.

If I could give it a negative -5 stars, I would. Cheaply made. Very poorly engineered! It doesn’t fit the top of the bottle and the corkscrew does not go all the way into the cork, so the wings do not pull the cork out of the bottle and you have to basically tear up the court to get it the rest of the way out

Surprised by how poorly made this OXO wine opener is. The arms end in narrow points so it hurts your palms to push down. The plastic feels very flimsy and cheap. Not at all what I’d expect from this brand. I threw away the packaging before I had a chance to test this out so I can’t return it. Will be looking for something else to replace.

For the price it’s not a terrible corkscrew. However it’s not the easiest to use and corks often break in half because the screw doesn’t go far enough into the bottle. Would keep looking if you’re searching for something that works well.

Nice corkscrew easy to use! Buy it right or buy it twice. It’s worth to splurge on this rather than a waiters corkscrew.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have to say I was skeptical due to the fact I am used to oxo having a reputation for being very durable. This seemed like it wasn''t quite as "hefty" as their other products. However, it worked great! I didn't have to use a ton of force to get the corkscrew to get the cork out. The corkscrew itself was rather sharp and seemed to have no issues going into the cork. I use this foe more than just wine. It works great with olive oil bottles as well. I am not sure it will last forever but I know as long as it does it will do a great job.

This corkscrew was easy to use, had a comfortable grip, and removed the cork with ease. It is easy enough for me to use on my own. It seems pretty durable, so I am hoping it will last a long time, as we do not use corkscrews too often.

My better half, who typically has me open a new bottle loves it too as they are able to successfully open a new bottle too!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The OXO Softworks Corkscrew is great. It opens cork topped bottles so easy. The screw glides smoothly into the cork. I love that it has a non - slip grip which is comfortable to use. This definitely takes the strain off of your hands. You could use this product on anything that needs to be uncorked. I would highly recommend!

It is easy to store, and doesn't take up much room. The mechanism requires you to position the screw above the cork and then simply turn the knob on the top. The process is intuitive and the results are always consistent. I highly recommend!
