doesn't glide smoothly
Peeler says soft grip but it's hard plastic. Had a really hard time peeling potatoes, it's doesn't glide well. The part to take out potato eyes does work well since it's really large. I do not recommend.

Great relacement if you misplace your peeler and need a new one
I’ve had this for about a year now because I could not for the life of me find my peeler and I figured I’d get the cheapest one until mine made a reappearance. One year later and I’m still using this one and it’s still doing a great job peeling. I use it multiple times a week. Mostly for carrots but sometimes other things too. My old peeler still hasn’t shown up, in case you were wondering. And now that I think about it that’s a little weird.
