I am bad at opening cans. Like it's impossible for me to open a can with ease. I love oxo products and after using lot of can openers, i tried this at the farm volunteer at and ran home and bought myself one. It's so easy and sharp and opens cans with so much ease. I just love this brands products. They are really good quality.

Stopped working within less than a month of use. I bought the OXO to get a manual can opener that would last - nope! Don't recommend.

This can opener than others is very lightweight. Favil to wash, wash its material is stainless, which makes it more durable, weighs no and has an ergonomic design that favors its grip.

First time using this brand. No rusting like various others I’ve used. Ease of opening especially for older person.

The product was definently good and safe to use. Worked well and easy to operate. Its slim so much easier to store in the drawer. Overall I think the product was great.

Easy to use

Do not recommend this can opener. Mine is less than 6 months old and it can no longer grip and open a can. The teeth slipped back and no longer make contact with each other so it’s completely useless. Luckily, it seems OXO stands behind their products because they offered to send me a new one. Hopefully the one will work better and it was just a fluke. We shall see.

it’s a very good product with nice grip and dynamics while opening cans. i have had no problems cutting through the can leaving a smooth edge behind as well.

I like the comfortable handles make opening cans and stress free. Cushion grip stays nonslip, even when wet. Oversized knob turns easily, stainless steel wheel doesn't rust when washing in dishwasher. The built-in bottle opener is also easy to use. Two thumbs up.

This can opener is so easy to use! It has a great grip which makes it really stable and it performs really well and gives it a great grip. It is also really easy to maintain. The others I’ve used get really rusty but this one actually stays good

Since Target tells you the day you purchased an item, I can tell you that I'm 2 days shy of using this can opener for one year. And it's broken. It was never made for my kitchen. It was made for the landfill. It sure worked great for most of the last year, but that's not enough for me. When I examined this item closely to see if I could fix it, it became obvious that it was purposesly made so it would NOT be fixable. It would have been so easy to use screws and nuts instead of rivets. Now the little gears spin freely and do not engage to cut open the cans, despite the fact that the wheel is still sharp. So, off it goes to the landfill. It's made to break, folks. I'm done with this brand. It could have so easily been made to 1. be more durable and 2. be fixable. This isn't rocket science. These guys are banking on us being too distracted by our lives to notice or care--and keep replacing with the same brand at a premium price. Their CEO (like all the other CEOs of these huge companies) is laughing at us from his yacht while we keep spinning in our hamster wheels, just wanting to make dinner with tools that work. All the while making us poorer and the planet more messed up. I just want to open cans of beans or tomatoes a few times a week to add to healthy meals for my family. Where can I buy something that will last for decades instead of months?!

I love this can opener. It is lightweight and feels comfortable in my hands. It works well at opening can and cuts well too. It is safe and easy to use. I have had mine for many years and it still works well. I would highly recommend this can opener.

Great designed can opener with a strong rubber grip. Requires no maintenance and doesn’t make much noise at all. Easily, yet strongly assembled and built to last!

Easy to use can opener! This opener is made nice and has held its sharpness. We’ve had it for years. The hook part to loosen a jar is super helpful as well.

This can opener is great. It fits comfortably in my hand. The handles are soft and smooth, but not too much as it stays nicely gripped in my hand. It makes a nice clean cut of the can, and opens it smoothly. I think this can opener is great for any kitchen.
