It’s a solid strong BOTTLE opener. It’s not meant for cans like the other bad reviews are stating. It opened my soda beautifully and it didn’t dent the opener like most of them do. I would definitely recommend! :)

Overkill and I love it
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Not sure this level of sturdy design is necessary for a bottle opener, but very nice! Very substantial feel and the OXO rubberized grip. Pretty enough to set out at a nice party and feel fancy, but also just great to throw in the bag for a day at the lake. I expect it to last forever.

I like the grippy area in the back so it does not slide around. The only thing that would have made it better is to have it magnetic so I can keep it on the fridge. Only reason I did not give it 5 stars
