A: Mine did not come with a plastic blade cover.
submitted byKMKH - 6 years agoA: No, but it is not as sharp as a knife. I sharpened mine slightly and just kept it in a drawer. Never had any cut issues since I only sharpened it SLIGHTLY.

Water gets inside handle
They say this is dishwasher safe, but if you put it in dishwasher with the blade up then water will collect inside the handle which isn't safe. Germs, mildew, mold, and rust can collect inside of it because the plastic peices connecting the handle aren't sealed together.

Don't waste your money
I bought this to replace a pizza cutter that was over five years old because the blade was not as sharp. Had high hopes for the well known brand, but this new one is disappointing. The blade is completely dull. I couldn’t even go through a slice of pizza on the first try.
