Tears up wine corks. Faulty design
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Tears up wine corks with support "feet" that are too large and extend beyond bottle lip into corks tearing them up as the cork is pulled out. Then corks fragments end up in the wine. Surely others have reported this. I like OXO but this corkscrew design is faulty and needs to be revised.

Not like my old one…
After over a decade of using the previous model of the same opener, I decided to order the slightly new design one. The corkscrew on it is so loose that it is horribly awkward to use, having to palm everything to turn it. Simply move it and it flops back and forth. Unusable. Will resort to sharpening the cutter and corkscrew tip on the old one. If this is on purpose, ouch. If faulty, let me know and I will return it for exchange.

Simple and sure
Slips into a cork before you know it! Double lever pulls with virtually no effort. Serrated foil cutter leaves a slightly rough finish but something one could live with.
