Has one weakness.
I purchased these tongs one year and a week ago. The quality of the silicone and the metal are good. The only weakness is the rivet on the fulcrum. After locking and unlocking the tongs so many times, the rivet wears out and is about the fall off. I guess it’s good enough for the price it was.

You get what you pay for
Don’t expect these to last long! They have an attractive look and are mostly functional but they don’t last. I used them maybe 1-2 times a week (I bought two of these so they were used rotationally) I mostly hand washed them but sometimes threw them in the dishwasher. The bolt keeping them together came apart so I tossed them. I thought the kitchenaid brand tongs to replace these and they are soooo nice. Get those instead!

Don't Expect These Tongs to Last Years
Tongs just arrived so have not yet been used. Unfortunately it’s very obvious they will not last. Please Target, don’t stock junky products just for their low prices. And also, if you want to retain customers, drop your practice of surveillance pricing - changing prices for individual buyers based on their personal data. It’s despicable. And hopefully soon illegal.
