I've tried countless corkscrews of all styles. Over the decades now, this particular one is THE best. Ever. For those who prefer this winged style, as I do. It is sturdy, operates very smoothly, the worm is long enough to center/get into the cork properly & the leverage is great. I used one of them for over 25 years before it came apart. So I can't complain about reliability ! There are many identical-seeming versions made by other manufacturers but this is the ONLY one I use - as long as they continue to make in Germany. The Chinese-made "versions" are simply not as good in any respect.

I should have purchased this double lever corkscrew several years ago as it would have saved me from purchasing 3 cheap versions and having to throw them out. This is a very sturdy wine opener and the quality is evident.

This is a very well made cork screw. The screw itself is sharp so it pierces into the cork and doesnt tear it up. THe side levers are well made and easy to push down. The nickle finish stays nice and shiny.

This reminds me of the wine opener my father used when I was little and I love that it is easy to use because the corkscrew can only go into the middle of the cork and you are able to get much more leverage to get the cork out.

I like the simple approach to opening a bottle of wine. Simply screw into the cork with the sharp spindle, arms raise, pull down the arms and out comes the cork. It's as easy as 1,2,3! Solid construction. The nickel coated steel also makes it very hygenic too.

Probably the best double wine lever corkscrew i've ever bought. Attaches to wine bottle and quicky & easily removes the cork without breaking it apart.
