Good size, poor design

These are the exact size I was looking for (about the size of a CD case), but I wasn't thinking about the design. My others all have a hole in the middle (also like a CD!) -- these do not. This causes a great deal of bulging when freezing, resulting in a less than flat ice pack in your lunch box. This can be irritating when trying to use these with flat stuff like glass storage containers -- everything wobbles and tilts.

I like these more than I thought I would.

My son’s lunches always have some surprise leftovers when he brings them home. I love that I have packs I can wash off with ease, and that they take up a set amount of room in his lunch and in my freezer! The soft packs mold to whatever shape they land in in the freezer which can make things tricky when putting into a lunch box.

These are too thin to stay frozen, making them ineffective at keeping the items in my daughter’s lunchbox cold through to the end of the day. I always put in multiple and it still doesn’t cut it
