Q: Is The mat thick enough to be put on hardwood floor? I want my baby to be comfortable enough to roll over without hurting her head

A: We are on baby #4. I used soft foam puzzle pieces with last 3, but made a change up this time. While, it isn’t as thick it does protect baby’s head. Mine still fusses for a second but his head doesn’t make a “hit” sound. Never had any bruises or red marks.

Q: Are there flame retardants in the mat? Curious bc TDCPP, TCPP, toxic chemicals can be found in polyurethane as well as PBDEs which are used as flame retardants.

I bought this today. Was super excited for my four month old to have a safe place to do tummy time and play. To my disappointment i opened the sealed packaging and it has sno straps to secure the sides like it does in the picture!

Sides do not stay up! This would be so much better if the sides were a bit more robust and had some sort of support in them, but they are so flimsy that it bows outward when put together.

Love this mat especially since it has a reversible side that is more neutral colored. Other reviews mentioned it coming apart after wiping it down and idk what they’re doing but we wipe ours daily with Clorox wipes and have not had this issue after having it for 12 months now. I also loved that this mat didn’t cost 100+ like most I’ve seen. Only thing I will say is this mat is good for ppl with carpet if you have hardwood flooring I wouldn’t recommend it as it’s not super thick.

I live in an apartment and babysit for my infant granddaughter two days a week. I can take this nat out when I need it, throw the baby's toys into it, then fold it compactly to return my place to a child-free state when she leaves. Have had this product for a couple months now and noticed that my 8 month old had plastic in his hand looked like from a bag. It ended up being from the mat!!! How can this thing being for kids be able to come off so easily he can put it in his mouth and choke! Horrible product be careful or just don’t buy!

This mat is great for tummy time and playtime. Although it's firm, it doesn't let the baby slip when crawling and it also protects the baby's head from nasty bumps. The fabric is easy to clean. The more colorful side is fun, but the low-contrast side allows the baby to see the toys better. It was worth it for us.
