Q: Is The mat thick enough to be put on hardwood floor? I want my baby to be comfortable enough to roll over without hurting her head

A: We are on baby #4. I used soft foam puzzle pieces with last 3, but made a change up this time. While, it isn’t as thick it does protect baby’s head. Mine still fusses for a second but his head doesn’t make a “hit” sound. Never had any bruises or red marks.

Q: is it water resistant or are you able to put on the washer and dryer?

A: I spray mine with Mrs. Meyer’s and wipe with paper towel. It won’t go in washer-no fabric.

Serious choking hazard! Defective and dangerous!
Bought two of these now. Wish I would’ve read some of these reviews first. The first one had the same issue other people are describing where the plastic film starts to peel and separate, but we chalked it up to it being treaded on by our nieces and nephews while we were on vacation. We bought a 2nd one after the first quickly became unusable, and were using it to line a play pen for our 11 month old - supposed to be somewhere we can keep hazards away, and he’s safe and contained. We didn’t realize it, but the plastic layer had started to bubble and separate again, and he was able to rip off a large piece of it and tried to swallow it. We only realized once he was aggressively vomiting and found the piece of plastic among the vomit. We’re mad at ourselves for letting this get past us, but even more upset that they would continue sell this product that seems to be consistently presenting an unexpected hazard to young children. It seems like it’s only a matter of time before this low quality product starts to break down, and I just hope that any parents that purchase it are able to catch it before it puts your children at risk. Target needs to take this off the shelf.

I bought this play yard mat for my baby not long ago, and at first it seemed like a good product. However, after a few days I realized that it has a plastic cover on both sides that comes off very easily. My 10-month-old baby managed to pull off a small piece of that plastic and ended up swallowing it, which caused her to vomit. When I checked the mat carefully, I found that the plastic was loose in several areas. I think this is very dangerous, especially for a product made for babies. I do not recommend this item, because it can be a choking hazard. I really hope the manufacturer fixes this issue, because the design itself is nice, but the material is not safe for little ones.

Terrible quality, choking hazard
This mat is terrible, the layer of plastic on top quickly started to peel and is a major choking hazard for my 8 month old. Had to throw out. Do not buy.

Poor quality, choking hazard
My baby has used this mat for less than 2 months and it is falling apart. What’s more, a plastic lining is coming off, which is a major choking hazard to my 7 month old. I don’t like to complain but I am very angry with the lack of quality. Do not buy.

Safety hazard
Originally ordered this item to have a safe space for my baby to play in since we have tile flooring. After a couple of uses the mat was bubbling up and peeling a plastic film.this was a huge safety hazard as a baby can easily peel of the plastic and choke on it. Do not buy this product!

Not Great
Not enough cushion for tummy time. If the baby drops their face they'll hurt themselves. also, the sides dont stay up, no matter how tight you pull the straps. I wouldn't buy this again or recommend to others.

I LOVED this until I DIDNT. I have an 8 month old and he’s been very drooly lately and drooling all over this mat and because of that there’s been a layer of plastic that is peeling off which is very much a choking hazard sadly :/ just be very careful!!!

Loved this mat at first since you could take it everywhere, easily foldable, and beautiful colors. Started bubbling and peeling within 1 month unfortunately. Only used water to clean it. Will have to get another mat for my baby now.
