Experienced artist Esra Alhamal also teaches you how to produce your own shell gold, prepare your paper, and outline with ink and a brush to create stunning Islamic art compositions.

About the Author

Dr Esra Alhamal is the General Manager of the School of Calligraphy and Ornamentation in Fujairah, UAE and she also teaches courses online. Esra completed her PhD in Islamic biomorphic patterns at the University of East London in 2022 and is the host of the Art Illuminated and the Golden Pages podcasts.
