Conventional salt & pepper mills often create mess by leaving excess grounds on surfaces when placed down. The simple, elegant design of Milltop™ avoids this problem as the grinding mechanism is at the top of the mill, which means any excess grounds fall back inside the unit after use. The innovative design also does away with a long central spindle for the grinding mechanism, which increases its capacity and makes it much easier to fill. To use, simply invert the mill and twist the base to grind. To adjust the grinding size, simply rotate the stainless-steel top.

Just OK
Material the body is made from isn’t particularly “wipe clean” accidentally got drips of tomato on them from bubbly pasta sauce. . stained horribly. Otherwise their just OK.

One of them broke after only a couple of weeks. The salt clumps up at the top and it doesn’t seem like you can really adjust the coarseness.

Looks nice but functionality poor
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] They look nice, but the salt grinder leaves loads of salt between the metal part and the body that drops on to you food in a large amount. The pepper pot does not grind black pepper corns very well, and you don’t seem to be able to adjust the coarseness

convenient and stylish salt grinder
Ingenious salt and pepper grinder combo with sleek design. Sturdy build and convenient to use. Keeps salt and pepper together. Unfortunately, it cracked when dropped. Still worth buying another.

Wonderful - best salt and pepper mills I’ve ever had. As the salt and pepper come out of the top, there is no mess left on the table. Very stylish design and I love the colours.

No more waste
Stylish solution to the problem of salt and pepper leaking from grinders as the grains are dispensed from the top rather than the bottom of this pair. They are slightly bigger than I wanted, but seem to work well so far.

I received salt and pepper mill and very pleased with them. I use them in the kitchen, they grind nicely and wipe clean easily as well as looking good on the worktop. I would recommend them to friends.

Great design and colours
Being in need of some new salt and pepper mills I came across these online. I loved the colour choice which was exactly what I was looking for and the fact no batteries are needed and the grind from the top design ensures no more messy counter tops. They were a little more than I would usually pay but we’ll worth it and the introductory offer saves a little too.

Great design and clean to fill and use
When looking for a new set we looked at Joseph Joseph as having already owning some of their other products we knew they would be well designed, look nice and work well. We are very pleased, very easy to fill from the bottom, no mess after use as the grind comes from the top . They look pleasantly and feel nice to use and easy to handle.

Stylish great choice of colours and most importantly they are superb grinders giving a decent amount of salt or pepper on each twist and the ability to alter the coarseness of the mills is great. I also love the no spill design so no mess.
