A: Hi Maria, The WV1 does a great job on windows of all sorts, including car windows. The suction aspect makes it easy to keep dirty water from flowing down into interior window wells. Interiors of windshields can be a bit challenging due to curved surfaces and limited access near dashboards, but the WV1 is otherwise an excellent addition to a car cleaning kit.

A: Hi Amaryllis, You can use standard window cleaning products that are not Karcher branded, but keep in mind that our product is specially formulated to rinse squeegee cleanly, and not damage the WV1. Never use bleach or any other product that may damage the device.

Missing critical components
I was disappointed when I went to assemble and use this the first time that it was missing the cleaning pad that was advertised as included. Since it is a third party supplier Target could not get me the parts so I could either return the whole thing and order it again or I could order the replacement pads. I opted to pay the $15 and order the replacement pads. Just unfortunate and now I have to wait for those to arrive before I can use the product.

Does NOT work as advertised!
This did not work at all as advertised. I had to go back and clean my windows the old fashion way. Did not realize I could not return it. Would have never purchased it.

Pretty happy overall.
Could hardly wait to try it out. Did an easy job on outside of windows. Indoors was a bit more challenging since the sill inside can get in the way of fully reaching the bottom of the glass. I won't use it on bathroom mirrors for exactly that reason; it doesn't seem to collect all the moisture at the bottom and thus might 'sneak behind' the mirror. In the shower stall, where I thought it would be super, it wasn't really because I had to stop and empty the reservoir twice since one is not to overfill it with the squeegeed water. Did a good job, just tedious to empty it while still in the shower stall.

Not like the old one
I had the old one that I loved, but eventually the battery died, ordered the new one but it didn’t suck the water. They sent me another one but I don’t like this one either leaves streaks and leaks all over. Wish I could buy the older one but they said it wasn’t available anymore. I will never use this, but don’t want to go through the hassle again of returning it.

This was actually a gift for my daughter, but I own one myself. I have over 21 windows on my farmhouse. Cleaning them is a chore, but this makes it less of one. I highly recommend it.

Works great!
The only negative thing I can say about this product is the on/off switch is very hard to manipulate. This is the second product we have bought recently and both have the same type of switch.. But both work better than advertised!
