King 800 Thread Count 4pc Hotel Collection Sheet Set White with Double Baratta Slate Blue Hem - Threshold™

High thread count. Very thick/ crunchy at first, exactly like hotel sheet but they just need to be broke in. These are the very best!

I am so sad about these sheets. The minute I took them out of the package, I smiled ear to ear. These were the thick, soft, yet crisp hotel style sheets I have been dreaming of for years. I couldn't wait to try them out, so I immediately stripped my bed and put them on, before washing. They were absolutely amazing ... silky soft and smooth feeling. Slightly cool to the touch and very velvety. Right out of the package, they smell bad. Almost like manure. As much as I wanted to just fall asleep in my new hotel style bed, I threw them in the washer with organic detergent and followed the instructions on the tag. After a wash and a dry, I threw them on my bed and practically jumped into them. They felt like completely different sheets! They were now stiff and almost scratchy. Each time I moved, it sounded like someone turning the page of a newspaper. A quick online search led me to the answer ... for both the smell and the different feel. Sheet manufacturers put a special coating on sheets to keep them flat in the package and to make them feel extra silky and smooth. After the first time in the wash, most of that costing comes off leaving them feeling much rougher and stiffer. Your once 5-star hotel luxurious feeling sheets now feel like something from a summer camp. These also lost the cool touch ... because they are twice as thick as most microfiber sheets, they feel heavy and warm. Instead of not being able to wait to get into bed ... now it's the opposite. It feels like going to sleep under a sheet of holiday wrapping paper. At the very least, they look good with their contrasting stripe. I got the dark blue stripe because they were much cheaper on sale. They look really classy. Although, they did shrink down a little after the first wash and don't drape over the bed as I hoped. I can't even tell you how let down I was by these ... out of the package, I felt that I had stumbled upon the greatest deal ever. However, now, I miss my old, cheaper sheets. Maybe they'll soften up after multiple washings but I doubt they'll have the initial silky luxurious feel they did out of the package.

Love the ‘clean’ chemical-free 100% cotton, high thread count, lovely hotel like sheets

Amazing, warm soft

These sheets are high quality and crisp. I was excited to try them. Unfortunately they are so loud that turning over in the night my husband and I wake each other up. Strangest experience. They are also slightly warm so not great in the summer. My husband wakes up sweaty multiple times a night. Wish I could return but I’ll try again this fall.

Luxurious and soft, wish I had bought another one while it was on sale. You won’t regret it.

Cool, soft, comfortable! I’ve purchased these multiple times

Very poor quality. The sheets were terrible. I do not recommend this product and wish I could return it.The sheets were supposed to be soft, but they were rough and scratchy. Very poor quality.

Why does it say slate blue and they r white????

Love these sheets. Washed well and stayed very nice

Great product

LOVE THESE

Terrible sheets - loud/crinkly and not soft at all.

I personally don’t know why this sheets has only 4.1 stars. I think it should be higher. I love how thick the material is. Everyone who stayed over at my house - they always complement the sheets.

Best sheets we’ve ever owned! Soft cotton with just enough crispness!!

Love these sheets because they are thicker than most these days and super soft.

Terrible quality do not buy! I had to order these sight unseen because of the size I needed. They came and immediately the quality was not 800 thread count. You can hear every movement across the sheet. I have tried to soften them buy washing and drying them several times nothing has helped. They are rough and nothing about them feels great. I wish I would have purchased elsewhere. I would have gotten better quality for that amount of money!

Love these sheets- they are so soft and thick. I was surprised to see so many bad reviews. I’ve used these exclusively for a year and they are still great condition. I have cozy earth sheets and I like these more

Let me start by saying that we love Target and have always had a great experience with what we've bought through the years so this is a detailed, honest review of our short experience with these sheets that hopefully will help someone out and save them some money. While visiting my daughter for a few months and sleeping on Target's Original Threshold Sheets that she's had for years, we loved them and went there while on our trip to purchase some for our home. While there and seeing and feeling their Hotel Collection ( a step up) they felt even better quality. Nice, crisp, and thick but soft. Reminded me of how my grandma's sheets use to feel when I was growing up. Though they were $40 more we thought surely they'd last for a good long time. We were used to another store's brand we used for many years but always felt there was better quality and thought we found it in these sheets. They felt great, fit our king size deep matress perfectly and washed well. We really liked them the first 2 weeks. We are so disappointed now. We got back from our trip March 29th and I put them on the bed April 1st, we've only used them for 24 days and they are already pilling so badly and making rough spots right where we sleep. Nowhere else. I've not seen anything like it, not even in the cheaper sheet set we used for years. And what's even more frustrating is we bought 2 sets so that we'd have another on hand for later since we dont have a Target where we live. It'd be a 2 hour drive to the closest one to return the unused set or exchange for the original Threshold sheets that I know don't do this. It's a lot of money wasted for what should be the highest quality sheets the store sells.

my husband is big, over 6'5", and when he sleeps his weight pulls the fitted sheet off the corners of the mattress. this drives me crazy. these sheets extra elastic around the corners hold the fitted sheet into place. i also like the texture of the sheets. theyre not as soft as the microfiber sheets we used to have but they also dont slide across each other resulting in the bedding falling off to one side or the other.
