Functions, but finish is awful. Arrived damaged and ugly.
This item arrived with the finish peeling badly right in the top middle where it is most noticeable. There was a spot about 2in x 1.5in with no finish at all and cracks with the lifted finish peeling away from that spot. Point is - there was absolutely nothing we could do to save the situation. Unfortunately, we kept it because the point of the purchase was more for function to support a temporary COVID related furniture move. We rubbed off the peeling finish and covered the headboard in sealant. It looks like crud, but better than having to drag the thing to Target in person to return. If you want function only, the thing is fine. I really wish Target had a better way to resolve issues like this. I also had patio furniture arrive damaged last year that we just chose to repair rather than return. Both of these instances make me reluctant to shop for furniture with them online. :/
