MARTÍN KOHAN nació en Buenos Aires en enero de 1967. Enseña Teoría Literaria en la Universidad de Buenos Aires. Publicó tres libros de ensayo, dos libros de cuentos y seis novelas antes de ganar, en 2007, el Premio Herralde de Novela con Ciencias morales, llevada al cine en 2010. Posteriormente publicó Cuentas pendientes, Bahía Blanca y Fuera de lugar La separación es su última novela.
