This backpack offers a vibrant design and ample space, making it a great choice for young students. Many guests appreciate its durability and the ability to personalize it, which adds a special touch. However, some have experienced issues with the quality, particularly with zippers and stitching. Overall, it is a stylish and functional option for school, but guests recommend checking for quality before purchasing.

Great quality
Great quality, my daughter had the same backpack but smaller size for 3 years and it looks like new except a little dirt. We purchased the same item but bigger size this time.

Backpack that lasts
Bought this for my granddaughter who is in first grade. She loves space and so the Blue Galaxy was the perfect pattern. I bought this backpack for my 3 grown children many years ago and they wear well, have a lot of pockets and zippers keep everything safe.

Loved it but it started ripping in 6 weeks
I ordered this bag for my 4th grader. It was great to start. Within 6 weeks the lining started ripping and has continued to rip making the bag unusable and it’s not even half way thru the year. Not worth The money.

Great features
I bought this 2 months ago for my kindergartener and its the perfect size! So comfortable, lots of space for the "Kids Insulated Soft Sided Lunch Box" as well, I can fit his sweater, lunch box, folder and more inside. The zipper functions well, love all the loops in the front, I added key chains to customize the look.

Good Quality. Smaller than I expected when compared to other brands
My 5 year old had a cat and jack brand back pack (which was wearing out) so decided to give this one a try. Both were from target and they both were 16 inch back packs, but this one is actually quite a bit smaller. So even though the lengths were the same the actual overall size is a little smaller than most backpacks rated for elementary. I do like that it does have two side pockets for water bottles.

School backpack
This is great size backpack. It’s durable and easy to zip for smaller kids. We love the color. The side pocket holds water bottles. There are different zipper areas to store things in the backpack.

The quality is awful
I bought my kiddo a Lands End backpack 4 years ago and that one is indestructible. This year she needed a bigger one at last so we ordered the same style one size up. It broke after one month. I requested a replacement and that one broke after one month too. (The same top loop. An important feature.) My child does not carry heavy books, just a lunch, a water bottle and a jacket most days. I am really disappointed in the drop off in quality for this product. She loves the pattern so she’s disappointed too.

Nice bag
This backpack is nice has one large zipper compartment and a front small zipper to put small stuff or snacks. And has two bottle pockets on sides. My son loved it until one of the zipper loop came off on the first day of use. Definitely it should be more sturdy for this price point. If they improve their quality than I will recommend it

LOTTA SPARKLE!
This backpack is more sparkly than it looks online, which the recipient LOVED! Looks great with the monogram, and I hope she will use it for many years.

Great!
Just bought it last week, but I love the medium size for my 2nd grader- it's not too big. Seems very durable and is adorable!

Always an excellent choice!
We come back year after year to Lands End for the perfect backpack. Both of my kids have their favorite styles. My middle schooler is still able to easily use the Large size.

Zipper broke after 6 months
My daughter loved this bag and it did a great job until the zipper broke on the back compartment. Now the bag is unusable. Others have stated the same thing happened to them. This must be a design flaw of the bag. The zipper first broke one direction, now it won’t work in either direction. Really disappointed as I was hoping for a good quality bag that would last a few years.

Still going strong
My first and fourth graders each have a medium size classmate, and they’re fantastic. Even after 4 + years of abuse and occasional overpacking, each is still going strong. Plenty big for anything an elementary school student might need to carry.

Super disappointed
It’s already coming unstitched and falling apart 😔 my kinder kiddo has been using it since September and is very careful with her belongings. I’ve had Walmart backpacks last longer and for way cheaper.

Perfect in-between size, small exterior pouch
Love this excellent quality backpack. It's the perfect size for my petite kindergartener. Furthermore, the interior has space for a full size folder and lunch box. And the fabric and it's bright colors have held up well to repeat washings. My only complaint is that the size of its exterior pocket, which I like to use to pack convenient school snacks, is very small and shallow. One cannot zip it shut with a lot of standard size Tupperware inside or multiple snacks. I wish the manufacturer would increase the pocket size to match the size of it's larger backpacks.
